A great selection of fresh home made cakes and scones at very reasonable prices. Good choice of drink options too, both hot and cold. The staff were very friendly and helped accommodate us as there were 6 of us but not enough seats so moved some around for us. Food was brought to the table quickly and staff made sure everything was okay, despite being rather busy.

Excellent service from a friendly and gracious staff. A great location looking up at the ruins of Helmsley Castle. Their cafe latte was perfect, were it not for the overly dry scone, this place really deserves 5 stars.

What a gorgeous find, with the most lovely people who care about serving you tasty and fabulous food! All of the staff were attentive and made us feel very welcome. Tables quirky and very clean, toilet facilities equally as clean and pleasant.The menu starts with a lush full breakfast or very generous sausage/bacon sandwiches starting upon a 10am opening. The menu had a good selection of light meals, cakes and snacks, ie sausage rolls, Victoria sandwich, brownies. The drinks were equally as lovely, coffee really good, no weak affair here! (😘👌) hot chocolate "the works" our 9 year old Ninja thought was absolutely 💯 and perfect T. Overall, get us there again soon! We loved it, thank you.

Been here a couple of times now in 2022. Love the location, super staff and love the Savoury and sweet platter. Nice fresh good at sensible prices. Highly recommended!! 👍😁

Idyllic, warm cafe and friendly service! Just right for a wide range of cold or hot tasty food (we each had Steak and Kidney pies!) and the excellent Jam & Clotted Cream Scones of course…🙃 (Only £3.25). Wide range of hot drinks and lush Hot Chocolate!Great value for money! Located just behind the pub over the bridge - closes around 4:00pm so get in early!

Absolutely delightful! Brilliant view of the castle (behind me in the snap I've posted) and caught the mid-morning sun! Delicious toasted teacake and scone, both of which were massive! Big pot of earl grey to finish it off. Lovely staff with good adherence to covid rules. Would highly recommend!

Does a really nice Cajun Chicken sandwich and crisps with a non-obscured view of Helmsley Castle ruin. Some really nice shops just round the corner within arms reach.

Best sausage roll I've ever eaten. Great service. Worth queueing for on a busy day. Lovely spot in the town.
