Spencers Bar and Grill in Ryedale

We had a lovely meal here as a family of 4 (2 kids age 8 and 2). The food was great and well priced. There is a well maintained play area outside which keeps the kids busy. One of the staff members was cleaning the play area and noticed how much out youngest loves to sweep up, so he found a small sweeping brush for him to play with and gave him a lollipop for helping. He was absolutely delighted, and what a lovely gesture. Will certainly go back when we're next in the area.

Absolutely disguted and let down, my wife rang up earlier in the day to book a table for thr evening but couldn't get through to anybody so a message was left regarding booking information.However upon arrival staff had not been notified of this what so ever. Decided to book a table anyway, informed them of amount of people and dog that would be with us but an hour later when we were ready to eat there was apparently no tables that were able to suit us making it impossible for us to eat their despite trying to book hours beforehand and once again in person . Staff were apologetic but couldn't help our cause, was last night of the holiday and disappointing to say the least.

Lovely little place tucked away, no problem walking in and getting a table. Attentive and friendly staff and very clean premises. Food was absolutely lovely, quick and well priced. Lovely view onto the lake from the conservatory. Highly recommended 👍👌 Thank you 😁

We only had a drink but the place was lovely. Very busy. They did food but we didn't look at the menu. Toilets were really clean and very modern. Always good for the ladies. Will definitely go back again and eat.

The family had an amazing Sunday Lunch at Spencers - the service was amazing & the food was delicious🎉 the veggies were cooked to perfection and they weren’t your bog standard veg either - the red cabbage, broccoli & cauliflower cheese and green beans with the Dijon mustard glaze were the stars of the show - the pork and plenty of crackling with the rich gravy was awesome 😎 we don’t go out for Sunday lunch often as we are usually disappointed as we love to cook tasty Sunday lunches at home- but this is the way to go! awesome food and no washing up it’s a win win - Thank you Spencers we will be back SOON! ❤️

Lovely place, excellent, friendly, down to earth staff. Reasonably priced bar with large selection of spirits. Great food and modern facilities. Couldn't fault it.

Thankyou so much to Mickey and the rest of your team for organising the buffet you provided for my family and friends following our bereavement. The food was plentiful, well presented, high quality with lots of variety and very tasty. We were all very impressed. Coupled with the room, atmosphere, lovely surroundings and excellent value I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend you all, you did her proud, thankyou so much.Paul

Not open Monday and Tuesdays but Wednesday night we are in.... in the past it's been a fantastic place to eat and drink....UPDATE we had tea there Wednesday night it was Brilliant food was fantastic and service to match..Not often I put this but five stars is not enough...10 out of 10....

Nice food and good outside eating area

Marie and all the staff gave us a lovely welcome. Our first visit with friends to Spencer's Lodges and certainly won't be the last. Spacious and comfortable furniture and lovely views of the small lake, food delicious and reasonable priced. Keep the good work up
