Large, busy, popular port of call with something for everyone across the generations. Not very big car park, which has a one way system in and out. Farm shop with prime, robust fruit and veg for sale. Also large deli attached selling cheese, meats, preserves, gifts, chocolate, condiments and baked goods. Large, airy café with very big outdoor seating area. Plenty of seats, including individual mini marquees. Very well laid out. Kids play area. There is also a track out back course, selfie opportunities and a wishing well. There are pick your own opportunities throughout the summer for: strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, gooseberries, rhubarb, blackberries and redcurrants. Absolutely delightful young man served me in the café, I'd go back again just for his cheerful demeanour and perfect service. Great at his job and a real asset to the business. But then I would also go back again for the absolutely aromatic peach sensa green tea, loose leaf, it's divine! Oh, and not mentioned their piéce de resistance.... satsuma and orange roulade with meringue, whipped cream and almonds.... oh my, zut alors, it is gorgeous!! And the portion size was a slab worthy of a bikers' café. Very highly recommended indeed. YUMMMMMM.

We called in for a light bite, with my mum.We were welcomed by friendly and happy staff. The cafe was well set out, Clean and tidy. The menu had a varied choice. We just chose toasted fruit teacakes, a latte and a tea. All were very nicely presented, the teacake was lovely with plenty of butter. Will definitely be calling again.

My wife & I had a first visit to the Farm Shop after a ride to Stamford Bridge. We went through the first entrance which turned out to be the Shop. This was well laid out with a good display of fruit & veg' etc. but to get to the restaurant we had to exit & walk around the outside of the building. We were handed menus after a wait then had another wait before ordering a tea, a latte, a fairy cake & a warmed fruit scone. After another wait the tea, fairy cake & latte arrived without sugar. I had to prompt the a waitress about the sugar & the scone. We were none to pleased about the service & also felt the prices were relatively high.

We took our 2 grandsons out for lunch and then to play in the children's play area. The cafe is nice and service was good. The food was ok but quite expensive for what we had. The ladies toilet floor could do with a thorough clean as it looked rather grubby.

Delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings, beautifully cooked and well presented. Wonderful red cabbage and lovely stuffing with cranberries. A jug of gravy so able to have as much as I needed. Unfortunately I didn't have time to wander around the farmhouse, but what I saw of the veg was a colourful array of fresh veg and I'm told there are cakes to please the eye and the taste buds. Take a chance when you visit as I understand no bookings are taken in the restaurant.

We popped into The Balloon Tree for a pre-Christmas lunch. We were offered inside seating but chose one of the heated outdoor pods.. the food was great and service was excellent our two young grandsons were with us and they really enjoyed the playground at the side of our pod.. altogether a thoroughly enjoyable lunch 😋👍

Bought a few bits & bats after having a bacon & a sausage sandwich with coffees. This was nice but a little expensive. From the farm shop we purchased one ‘Leveracks Lasagne’ ready made meal. We followed the correct cooking instructions and have just eaten it for lunch. I can honestly say it’s the worst Lasagne we have ever had. The white sauce has the consistency of wallpaper paste and probably tastes of it. There is very little mince meat in the dish. The cost was £5.75. Do not buy this!

Beautiful place and delicious food. We loved the restaurant area as well as the farm shop itself.

Safe, clean, yummy, fresh, lovely staff. Loved my coffee, food. Love my veg and fruit and all purchased things from farm shop. My girl rode with hubby on little track, £3. I love this place and always come back 💗
