Had a raclette with salami and gherkins melt. It came with coleslaw and a lovely beetroot salad. Docking a star only because some slices of melt didn't have cheese on them. I wish Google did half-stars because, despite this minor complaint, the melt was absolutely AMAZING. Nothing was burnt or overcooked. Theres a wide variety of dry ingredients to the back of the store as well as fresh coffee and deserts that can be taken to go. The Deli of Malton is a must-stop for food lovers!

Great place and absolutely beautiful food...all enjoyed with a nice bottle of Black Sheep craft beer...give this place a try you certainly won't be disappointed 👍

Excellent range of reasonably priced lunch menu with coffee, cakes etc. Couple of tables out on the footpath if you want to see the world go by. You can rate the parking skills of the drivers in the free for 2 hours car park directly opposite !

Dropped in for a late breakfast and enjoyed the special hot pork sandwich. Very good food and service.

Definitely the best hot pork sandwich I’ve ever tasted and the crackling just takes it to another level!! Wish I knew what cut of pork they use as it was not really fatty

When I moved to malton was the first place to go for food as it was really nice , but the food has just gone down hill overcooked and undercooked food and found a massive black hair in my breakfast !!

We went for a latish lunch. We had the cheese & meat platter which was fantastic. However, the ‘friendly’ staff reported in other reviews were definitely off today with staff barely acknowledging us and clearly having a disagreement amongst themselves. Such a shame as the food was brilliant.

Shocking breakfast for £8.95, had better in a transport Cafe for a third of the money. Sausage was burnt, beans were clap cold and had to be sent back for reheating in the microwave, toast was cold and soggy, ordered extra black pudding which didn't turn up with the breakfast, had to wait 5mins for this to arrive so had already finished off what was edible. The bacon was nice though.The front of house staff were very pleasant and did try their best, I think the problem is in the kitchen, maybe the Chef is on the sick or on holiday. If this is the case, don't serve food until they are back. At these prices the customer expects and deserves more!I would have given 1 star if it wasn't for the pleasant staff.
