Nicely appointed with Friendly staff. Three hand pulls include black sheep. Not a cheap place but quality looks good.

Staying in the village and popped in for a couple of beers this evening. Very friendly staff and locals happy to have a chat with us too which was nice. Going back for a meal on Friday as menu looks great.

A cosy country pub, serving rustic food with large portions. A good variety of vegetation options, friendly service and a great atmosphere.

We managed to get in on bank holiday Monday even though we hadn't booked a table, the staff are really good and the food is excellent, will be visiting again, thanks!

Really lovely environment and superb staff. Ordered medium steaks which were definitely at the medium rare end!Japanese Bao Buns to start did nothing for me. Perfectly pleasant but wouldn’t rush to order again. Filling was good.Deserts were slightly disastrous. My poached pear as very limp and the chocolate brownie felt like an aged re-heat. Not great.

Looked a really nice pub,so we stopped off. Real problem was the gents toilets. No running water,2 broken gel dispensers and a large sanitizer. Not really a substitute for hot water. Also having the model cars on display straight above the urinals? They were grubby and dirty. Obviously they cannot be cleaned properly.Nice looking pub but cleanliness level in a public area (ok the wcs) not good.

Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere. Service from friendly staff was very good, and the food was excellent. I will definitely be visiting again ;)

Lovely place. Beautiful inside and outside even in the wet miserable day we went. Staff nice.. food great :)

We visited this pub for an evening meal and everything about this place was superb - it has an excellent welcoming atmosphere, the staff are very kind and helpful and the food is simply excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend this pub to friend or family and hope to be back soon.
