We don't live too far away, and thought we would give the Horseshoe a try last night. Lovely quaint pub, the most friendly staff ever, and excellent food. I had the Sea Bream with sweet chilli veg and sauté potatoes and hubby had the Red Thai curry...both were excellent. We both started with the deep fried Haggis with a tasty dressed salad and warm whisky marmalade, again delicious, and so nice to find haggis on a menu. We will be returning very soon, certainly worth the journey, thank you.

Only stopped for drinks after a morning walk. Lovely (spacious and neat) outdoor seating area. Fabulous black sheep beer. Great coffee. Only downside was no pastries to go with my coffee.

Called in with the wife for a beer after a long walk. Sat outside looking down the village green. Friendly service and top quality drinks. So impressed I am planning on booking for food on our next visit, update to follow

Lovely location and very isolated (very steep twisty narrow road to the village).Great food and homely service. Certainly a great place to stop for a"few days" walking holiday. Do the post breakfast walk pre breakfast!

Stopped here for one night whilst walking the Tabular Hills Walk. Levisham is a picturesque village by the Hole of Horcum in the North York Moors National Park. The pub sits at the top of the village by a little green overlooking the main street. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. The service was exceptional and being in between lockdowns had great measures in place to keep everyone safe. The evening meal and breakfast were superb! In particular the vegetarian option. Great choice of drinks too.

Stayed in a deluxe room in the old stables and it didn't dissapoint, clean and warm and very quiet. Food in the pub was delicious and the staff was very friendly and extremely efficient and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

We recently stayed here overnight for a special occasion. The room was immaculate and included all amenities required. We had a brilliant nights sleep and the site was incredibly peaceful. The food at the Horseshoe Inn was spectacular, we both had a 3 course meal and each course was incredible. The staff were all so welcoming and attentive and I could not recommend a stay here highly enough. We will be returning for sure.

If you're looking for a weekend retreat to a country pub in the North Yorkshire Moors, this is the place to be. Great rooms, individual chalets, beautifully maintained. Food and drink first class with a good selection of Real Ales. Easy for visits to all East Coast resorts. Plenty of walks and museums to visit. Charlie and the staff will make you very welcome.

Pretty special; great service from smiling waitress, spectacular surrounding walks and scenery. We were last to go to our room, and noted the landlord chatting happily with staff, hence the pleasant atmosphere. Prices reasonable too, will book again
