The Jolly Farmers Inn in Ryedale

Absolutely delicious homemade food. Would highly recommend here. Fab village pub and the staff are so friendly and helpful and attentive, the service is fantastic.The pub is full of charm and friendly customers too. I can definitely understand why it's a popular local. Looking forward to when we can visit again.

In all honesty, this was the best fillet steak I've ever had! I would recommend this gorgeous pub to everyone and everyone. But I won't. Because then I'd never get a table! You can't come. You'd hate it. Honestly.

Called in for the quiz and stew evening.we were welcomed by the staff the stew was the most amazing stew I had ever had.and the quiz was a right laugh.we will certainly be calling in again.

Absolutely brilliant pub with great hearty Yorkshire food!Totally chilled and relaxed atmosphere!A great asset to the village and the community everyone extremely friendly which of course is backed up by an extremely friendly village in general!Worth mentioning that after having fish and chips all my life this pub has the best fish and chips on a Friday night I’ve ever had in my life!

It's a little bit run down in some areas, but the very friendly welcome, from both staff and other customers, more then make up for any decorative shortcomings.All the food we had (see pictures) was absolutely gorgeous, and, while not cheap, was very good value. The drinks are a very fair price too.I cant recommend The Jolly Farmer Inn highly enough. A must visit if you are anywhere near the area.

Great pub! Food was excellent, service was great, friendly patrons. Dog welcome. Prawn cocktail, pork belly was divine!! Apparently so is the black pudding, salmon and the steak! Highly recommend the Jolly Farmer Inn.

My parents, wife, 10 month old daughter and I had a great time at the Jolly farmer today, the food was excellent, the staff really friendly and so were the locals. A little hidden gem -this place, and certainly worth a trip! Even the baby loved it :)
