Excellent, busy, friendly

Nice enough pub with beer well kept.Only grumbles are the garden is untidy with cigarette butts everywhere, and there was no lock on the cubicle door in the gents loo.Small things that are easily sorted, but which make a huge improvement to customer experience.

Full of character and class, a real proper pub with classic karaoke and a pool table and the best guests you can fins. Friendly and fun suitable for all ages

Cheap but cheerful place. Stayed one night and facilities although basic were all great, couldn't fault the room. Staff behind the bar were really helpful and even delivered an iron to my room when I was in dire need at 9 at night. Yes there is traffic outside but found with some earphones in as I was going to sleep I didn't notice it (was aware from other reviews it was present). Will definitely stay again if I need a hotel in Malton. Thanks guys.

Brilliant pub with amazing staff. Ideal for a weekend break or even longer. Biker friendly so safe place to keep your bike. Lots of nice places to visit and advice from staff if needed. Highly recommended. 5* from me
