Very pretty, well priced and excellent service. The food was delicious

1 star for this place is more than kind! 2 of us ordered toasties, which are pretty difficult to get wrong, however they excelled with the cheap bread and unmelted cheese. Hot tea was served 15 minutes prior, resulting in cold tea with food.. but the piece de resistance was the stale scone that you could play music from if you tapped it with your knife! ☹ no discount offered after pointing out the issue.. one to avoid!!

Very nice place, always made to feel very welcome. Food is always freshly cooked.

The atmosphere was ok when we walked in, and the food selection was decent.We were a bit surprised at the slow service with how empty the place seemed and the dirty table we had to sit at was never noticed or cleaned.The food was beautiful, I was pleased to see that the Yorkshire pudding looked home made and not some ready made Aunt Bessie kind or similar.We were thinking of trying the desert options but waiting for someone to come back and see if we wanted any was far too long, so we lost interest and decided to just pay and leave.We had a really great time and people were friendly.
