The Whole Hogg Farm Shop and Tea Room in Ryedale

Best Carrot cake I have ever tasted. The Cheese scone was delicious too. If you need a pit stop you won't beat this place for quality, and they serve Yorkshire tea too.

This small cafe and farm shop is perfectly placed half way up the Pickering to Malton road.It's always a nice stop gap when we're travelling to York or wherever.The cafe food is reasonably priced and a good selection of cakes and hot food, athough later in the afternoon they do only drinks and cakes, but that to be expected when near to closing time.The farm shop is well stocked with home grow vegetables and locally sourced meats and game...Well worth a visit..

This place is lovely. We opted for soup and a sandwich, beautiful homemade mushroom soup packed with great flavour. Sandwich was fresh and packed with filling which was deliciously fresh too. Nice place and good to have a quick browse at products. Butchers is pricey but the quality is excellent.

Love this shop! Not used the cafe much but never disappointed. There is some real treats in the jars and once had a carrot cake that was amazing. The meat is always really nice too, it's a small but perfect range. Been a customer for years and can't drive past without a visit.

A lovely well stocked local farm shop with a good choice of meats, pies and local produce. Very family and community orientated and the funky pumpkin castle play area for kids is a nice touch. Pumpkins everywhere, a great selection of sizes and prices to suit. A lovely idea, well recommended.

Nice farm shop and cafe. Didn’t use the cafe so won’t comment but a decent amount of fresh vegetables breads and meats to choose from. Also your standard local, chutneys, gins etc to buy found in most farm shops. Lady was very friendly behind the counter. So far have eaten the burgers we bought and they weee fab.

Called here for the children to pick pumpkins for Halloween. Absolutely brilliant, never seen so many pumpkins. The pumpkin castle was amazing.

Fab family outing .kidz loved running about with the pumpkins. Good fun. Play area was good while we had a cuppa.in the barn. Well stocked farm shop.

Lovely little farm shop and cafe. Neighbouring horses in a paddock with goats, horses and the odd feather friend. We had a lovely take away Cream tea outside (DIY version).COVID friendly even recognises the hidden disabilities lanyard (flyer on window).Girls were lovely will definitely stop by again when we are in the area.
