Alfresco in Scarborough

A lovely local sandwich shop where they make your sandwich to order. Good selection of hot and cold sandwiches.

First visit. Loved the lunch, both hot and cold items. Nice staff, great variety, good value.Service could probably do with being a little snappier, otherwise they will find it hard to make the profits they deserve for all the the hard work they do....

Excellent breakfast sandwiches. We stopped as a family at a Guesthouse just around the corner. We couldn't get breakfast at the Guesthouse so found this little gem of a place whilst out and about. Lovely bacon and sausage sandwiches with all the extras available like egg, mushrooms, toms etc. Excellent value for money and really nice friendly staff. We visited here for breakfast all 3 mornings we were on holiday inScarborough. Would highly recommend.

Superb. Was going to go to a supermarket until I spotted this place. Would rather support independent businesses and was highly impressed. The sandwiches were very fresh and make just how I like them. Also talked myself into a custard slice which was kindly cut in half for me to share with my husband. So glad I gave my custom here and not a chain

Best sandwich shop by far. Lovely homemade food. A good selection of hot n cold sandwiches salad pastries cakes and hot drinks. The prices are very reasonable. Example.. £2.40 bacon sandwich £3.75 salad and quiche. Visit here if you're going to the park and take a picnic

Despite being local to Scarborough, we're new to Alfresco. In the last fortnight, we've visited three times to enjoy their made-to-order sandwiches and colourful salad boxes. Alfresco also has a wonderful selection of freshly made pastries, cakes, quiches and treats. Admittedly, we haven't gotten this far in sampling their offerings as we're usually fit to burst! Everything we've tried has been delicious and the prices are competitive. Besides that, the staff are so friendly and helpful. I can't recommend them enough!

Being coming here for years for a morning sarnie before work. Fabulous choice to the menu and the owners always have a good natter with you whilst your waiting.Never been disappointed with a visit to Alfresco's!

Great fresh food at a great price. A large salad box sandwich and savouries for under £8 All great tasting and perfect to picnic in the park across the road. Large selection of sandwhich fillings and fresh baked produce.

Fabulous place, great choice of food, very reasonable prices and the quality is superb. I've paid twice as much elsewhere and the foods been nowhere near as good. Staff can't do enough for you, and the bacon brie and cranberry ciabatta was the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back next time we're in Scarborough

Ordered a hot bacon sandwich with red sauce and it was absoluty delicious! The bread was soft with a slight chew which made it the perfect texture, the bacon was evenly spread and cooked and the sauce was spread equally everywhere. 5/5 would recommend. Great for the price aswell.
