Bay View Coffee House in Scarborough

Great place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Eat in or takeaway. Staff great service great and the price is also good. We stopped in had pot of tea and a cake each. Loved it definitely will use again or recommend to people going to Scarborough for a nice place to sit and absorb in the views while grabbing a bite to eat. Thanks again.

This is a great café any time of year. Ros has created a coffee shop with character and there are always friendly, efficient staff on hand to bring you great coffee, teas and scones, cakes, fresh-cooked paninis and other savoury meals. Prices are reasonable and the south-facing seafront location is superb, offering views of the bay from the seating outside and, when it's rainy or windy, from the inside. One always feels welcome at the Bay View, which is why it's a favourite haunt of sea swimmers. The sea is just across the road and we know we'll soon get warmed up there! In case you don't know: bacon baps, paninis, cakes, flapjacks and tea or cappuccino are all recommended after a dip in the bracing South Bay waters!

First visit today with two bichon frise in tow which were allowed in the cafe. Gorgeous moist ( listen out other cafes!); moist fresh cakes and coffee was lovely. Nice friendly staff and clean environment thank you :)

Greatest cafe on the sea front. The owner and her staff are all lovely polite people. We have always called in for a coffee tea and two scones. And we go all the time now we live in Scarborough. Look forward to seeing you all soon. Much love

Best coffee on the seafront. Always served with a smile. Really well organised for takeaway at the moment. Bacon butties are lovely, nice crisp bacon and toasted bun and they have the nicest teacakes which have a hint of spice and served with lashing of proper butter. They even have free dog biscuits for your canine companion. Can't wait for it to reopen properly so we can have a full breakfast.

Had a lovely coffee break here, they were dog friendly too! Had some treats for the dog, and lovely cake helped too. Will gladly come back here again!!I had the flat white, the wife and one of the sons had a really lovely hot chocolate.The chocolate fudge cake was great as well.
