This place specialises in fish and if you like platters full of lobster crayfish prawns etc this could be the place for you. We had fish and chips which were excellent. The small is more than adequate with regular being for a hearty appetite. Pictured is the regular.

Probably the best place to go in Scarborough, noon or night. 100% recommend for families, friends … whatever the occasion … spectacular views too

A slice of heaven...Tucked away on the Scarborough pier this unassuming little restaurant is the definition of a hidden gem. After seeing a review on Google we stopped by on Saturday afternoon at 4pm and were given a great table by the attentive staff member. A easy going and relaxed atmosphere fills you with calm and the smell of fresh seafood cooking gets you exited for what is to come. The menu is so varied and full of choice, It was actually hard to choose what to order. We settled on the hot seafood platter and it blew us away. Great taste and also brilliant value for money. Not to mention the stunning views out onto the harbour. Will definitely be back cant wait to return.

Lovely views & delicious coffee. Such a shame the food is poor quality. I had a chip butty which didn’t have a choice of white or brown bread & came on bread from a packet out of a supermarket. Very poor standard indeed.

My search for the best fish and chips continues... Had a walk in table (it's winter) and was served with a smile from the lovely staff. The menu is a bit pricey and very much the same as the competition nearby and we had the fish and chips. The food was great albeit a slight bit oily and honestly not the best batter, but the fish itself amazing. An enjoyable meal for sure (don't get me wrong) and great staff make this a solid place to go when visiting the beach.

We visited this restaurant as a family of 4 (2 children) a couple of days ago whilst in Scarborough. I had booked a table a few weeks prior as I had read lots of good reviews and the menu sounded delicious! It certainly lived up to expectations. It is situated in a lovely spot overlooking the harbour and the food was fresh and tasty. Adults had Lobster & Crab and children had Scampi. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend and will certainly be returning next time we are in Scarborough

The nicest seafood hot plate that we have had…ever. The prawns, mussels and langoustine were beautiful but it was the squid that blew us away. Situated at the end of the wharf, where all the fishermen land their daily catch, you can certainly taste the freshness. For the amount of beautiful, fresh seafood you get, it was also excellent value for money - the crab was really nice too.We will be visiting the Lookout again when we pass through Scarborough - highly recommended from us.
