Lots to buy in this shop. Have plenty floors with everything you need for home and more. And a lovely top floor cafe with sea views. Nice food

I have shopped in this family store for over 60 years from child to pensioner. The amazing choice of goods continues to amaze me. I always say if you are trying to find something try BOYES!!.

One of those places that has lots of stuff you didnt know you needed, and at good prices. And a great sewing department.

If you need it, you can be sure this shop will have it ! And if they don't, they will find you an alternative. I have always found the staff helpful and never feel rushed. It has that thing called old fashioned service. They have a lovely range of wool, which I just can not resist, all at a great price.It is my go to place for net curtains, I know some prefer blinds now..... but not with my dog! He has them down and wrapped round his neck at the first knock of my door.

Big range of things, great prices... just a pity they didn't have what I needed so reverted to my new habit of online shopping where you are pretty much guaranteed success when looking for that otherwise hard to find item... Long live the high street!

Boyes is consistently brilliant. Amazing range of products, traditional department store feel and priced competitively. Also at this time of year their window displays are festively lovely.

Lots of things to buy reminded me of woolworths

Those of you that grew up in East Yorkshire will be well aware of this family chain of shops. Based predominantly in the city of Hull it was quite literally an everything shop and is pretty much the same now as it was in the sixties real prices and real bargains. For the history buffs out there the store on Holderness Road in Hull bears a plaque on its corner with Brazil Street marking the site of the last raid of World War 2 on the UK mainland

Looking at some items on display. Asked by a member of staff if he could get in. We moved out of his way only for him to put 2 cages directly in front of what we were looking at. We were absolutely flabbergasted. A lesson in how to get rid and put off customers. Wish I'd taken a photo to put on here. We even passed comment but it fell on deaf ears. We should have sent for the manager.
