A quaint little country pub, open fire and great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit, food was great and got made to feel so welcomed even though they seem very busy. Would definitely recommend

Staying in a cottage just up the road and called in for eveng meal. Great service, excellent food and a lovely pint. Happy days

Absolutely outstanding, place is warm and inviting, staff are very helpful and pleasant. Food, the gammon for both of us was simply divine. We found this place on Saturday whilst house hunting, stopped by for a drink and returned on Saturday evening for a meal - boy what a find, we will be returning!!

What a wonderful pub, and such friendly people. This is a pub to recommend. I do have one complaint that customers leave the door into the pub open. So the heat from fire is lost by ignorant people not shutting it. Even the boss Paul said they were born in a field. Otherwise smashing

Beautiful light crispy scampi and great chips and Treacle Sponge was the best I ever had. You expect it to be heavy but was so light and not crazy sweet like some are. Perfect 😁 Staff were very welcoming. You should not regret a visit here. Little Gem of a place.

Very nice country pub and friendly staff clean and smells fresh. Shame about the veggie option and no crackers on a Christmas meal. Was not great as we go every year.

Judging by the way the phone kept ringing with people wanting to book tables, this is already a well known pub/restaurant. Have to say the food was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were only passing through but would go back to eat there any time.

·

Absolutely outstanding - we arrive quite late due to getting lost. The host (Paul) was really understanding and welcoming. The service provided was absolutely 5*. The main and desserts were delicious - would definitely recommend

Absolutely gorgeous food. Staff were very welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Lovely food and drink but didn't realise how quiet it got on a Monday night and felt guilty about keeping the staff from an early finish. Seating is on the hard side but enjoyed the music. Nice evening.
