As a born and bred Yorkshireman who has lived down south for far too long I was looking for proper fish and chips. I found them at Rennards. The best I have had for years. My daughter and grandchildren gave them 5 stars too.

Lovely fresh fish and chips served up by really nice people. Gave one of my kids extra because she'd been well behaved on our week away. Thoroughly recommended and will be getting my chips there in future 😋👍

OMG Amazing!!!!!! I’m completely addicted to the food. The batter is hand made, the curry is handmade, the food is consistently fresh. Believe me if you order anything on the menu add curry you will be delighted. You can’t get enough of the quality of the food you must go back for more even when you’re stuffed full. Definitely 5 out of 5 for quality and service!!!!!!

This was a lovely meal. The fish was superb as were the chips. The amount of chips were generous without being too many. Peas were a little bit on the harder side but not enough to stop me enjoying the food. The gent who served us was polite and welcoming too!

Perfect fish from a seaside authentic chippy, melts in your mouth with full flavour and minimum grease.This was the place I was told about from a local so I trust that more than anything found on the beach front.Chips were great too, curry had a hint of spice which was good.This is the one chippy I will return to.Oh and friendly staff!

Drove 83 miles for proper Fish n Chips and yet again never disappointed. The food was cooked to perfection and the owners are very friendly.Highly recommended and we will be visiting again in the future

Amazing bargain. £4.95 for small fish and chips plus a choice of sides. Freshly cooked, generous portion and served with a smile!

Ordered through just eat, (11 of us), had a 15 minute journey home. Everything was still hot, and the fish was lovely! Generous portions and for a very good price. Would highly recommend.

Just had the £4.95 haddock take-out lunch. Brilliant value. Great Fish'n'Chips with peas and crunchlings thrown in. Friendly service. Would have paid twice as much for not half as good in my Devon hometown. Had a job finishing it - perhaps it was the beer.
