Cranberry Swamp in Scarborough

Great friendly, relaxing place with retro vibes. Specialises in gluten free. Children's meal options. Staff are super. I tried the pink latté (beetroot) and the turmeric chai was gorgeous. Great, interesting and unusual options on this menu and at reasonable prices too. Some really good vegetarian and vegan choices. Sweet potato wedges with garlic mayo were brilliant and a good enough portion for two and at £3...?! Shall deffo revisit. Try it.

We visited Cranberry Swamp yesterday and we weren’t disappointed! Both my husband and I are vegan and the choices were brilliant. Nearly everything on the menu could be adapted and there were some delicious sounding dishes. We both opted for the Squash and chickpea burgers which were top notch - I could have eaten it twice! Service was friendly and the atmosphere happy. Will definitely visit again during our stay in Whitby and highly recommend to herbivores and carnivores alike!

Great cafe. Very pleasant staff and good range of good, tasty food, including vegan. We'll done. Airy, spacious and nicely decorated. Highly recommended.

Wonderful gluten and dairy free vegan cake in great surroundings 👍

Nice big space with some funky wallpaper, with friendly staff and a large choice of gluten-free food (including plenty of cake!). It all looked and tasted great. Our lunch included eggs royale, eggs benedict and a panini. Lots of hot and cold drinks to choose from, with some more exotic flavours for the adventurous (turmeric latte wasn't for me, so I stuck with a tea). Hope to return soon to check out some cake!

Amazing cafe! They were great with allergies and answered every question on allergies I had with one word. The burger I had came with dairy free cheese and really nice beef. I also had a latte. Very nice staff and comforting atmosphere, 5 stars :-)

Great service. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend the Mexican eggs! They were delicious! A perfect blend of so many flavours!!

Wonderful cafe! Excellent options for coeliacs (myself), vegetarians and vegans who were also in my party. Eggs royale on gluten free bread was delicious, and I almost cried when I found out the entire fridge of cake is gluten free - with a fantastic selection from classics like chocolate fudge and carrot cake through to more unusual ones like avocado and courgette cake. Lovely staff, great ambience and great value too. We will be back, thank you! 💜🙌

Lovely place to start the day. We had a great breakfast with the added treat of Prosecco (well we were celebrating a birthday!). The menu was really good, different to your bog standard. Everything was presented so well and tasted great. Service with a smile and approval of the breakfast drinking 🤣. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.

Great breakfast here 2 mornings in a row. Gluten free and vegan options available. The coconut hot chocolate and gluten free pancakes were a particular highlight. Tends to be pretty busy by 10am so getting in early is recommended.
