An absolute gem of a place. Fantastic food and amazing coffee! Everything is fresh, service is speedy and staff are very friendly. I will definitely be back!

Lovely find for lunch.......we've always seen this place but never ventured in.It's lovley fresh food, really reasonably priced and a good plateful .Staff are very friendly and nothing too much trouble.Would have rated a 5 star but personal preference of one of the kitchen staff ( who came out front to use the toilets) had very long hair which although in a ponytail, I thought should be completely tied back and either in a bun or netted . It's just off putting for me.Overall would visit again 🙂

Great traditional cafe food, lovely staff albeit rushed off their feet. Dog friendly too. Great clean loos downstairs.

Just visiting for winters day out. Great coffee, food fantastic value and quality. Service first rate with great attention to customers satisfaction. Toilets downstairs, could be a slight problem for disabled but spotlessly clean. Attention to covid regs and cleaning. A must when in town. Hornseaites 5⭐

Sunday morning light breakfast after night spent in Whitby. Eggs on toast, lovely tasting eggs and toast. Simple but very tasty and great value. The full English looked very nice as well.

Came across this place on our visit today. Lovely and clean with friendly staff. They serve all day breakfasts and have a children’s menu. Daughter enjoyed the ‘mini’ breakfast, which was the perfect size. I had the baked potato with coleslaw which was delicious. Would highly recommend!

Love Whitby but would never this place! Staff left us standing at door for ten minutes then a VERY rude young lady ( member of staff ) told us we could not have a table for two as it was reserved for members of staff! Extremely RUDE staff will tell everyone we know not to go near! Went up the lane and had a beautiful pastry!

We nipped in for breakfast. So thankful we did. Made to feel welcome and 2 great ladies serving us. Food was outstanding a delicious. Not 1 complaint from me for this place will be our regular breakfast go to place. Very rare to find a 5 star place. Recommended highly. Thank you for our service. They have toilets downstairs, varied menu. Cake to die for.

Great cafe lovely staff. The caramel shortbread is delicious and the banana milkshake was very tasty too. Great place to visit when you visit Whitby x x

Friendly rice cake and coffee place. Very clean and tidy, the toilets are downstairs. Helpful stuff. The cappachino was very weak, really milky with not a lot of coffee in it but large, hot and well presented would go again.
