Best chippy in Filey for us. You know it's good when you see a queue of locals outside every time they open.

Fantastic fish and chips but not open many days of the week ashame because we will be going for 3 nights to filey and it isn't open any of those days disappointed

Been visiting this fish shop for over 40 years and still as good,staff always friendly and helpful,shop always extremely clean. EXCELLENT.

Chips were okay. We had a haddock which was very greasy but the fish itself tasted alright without the batter. The pattie was extremely greasy. Mushy peas wasn't good at all and didn't taste much.

Came to this beautiful chippy yesterday evening after leaving Scarborough, and omg the fish was amazing, the curry sauce was beautiful. The staff are so pleasant and lovely. Thank you so much. Definitely highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

Decent fish and chips, portions weren't huge but staff were helpful, we requested the fish skin removed & no problem at all.

Had to wait for 20 plus minutes. Haddock and chips twice 1 x small peas 1x small gravy. Cost £14.60. After 10 minutes of looking at the menu..not much else to do, whilst waiting, I realised I should've been charged £11.20. I queried this. I was told in no uncertain terms 'It's right!!!'. It wasn't but for £3 I wasn't going to argue in the street. The fish and chips were excellent if you like proper traditional fish and chips. The fish quality was superb. I found the beef dripping too fatty. I also didn't like the skin on the fish, but I appreciate this was top quality traditional fish and chips.

This is far and away the best - head and shoulders above all the rest. Everything is cooked to order, so don't expect a quick in and out, but the wait is definitely worth it. Wonderful crisp golden batter filled with moist, beautifully cooked fish. Add to this the fresh cook BROWN chips- none of your anemic chalk sticks here - and you have perfection. Everything on the menu is prepared and cooked to the highest quality. Keep it up ladies!!!

We wanted takeaway fish and chips one evening while staying in Filey for a few days. There are so many places that we used Google and saw Dicky B's had the highest rating. After eating them we understand why and can say they were some of the best fish and chips we've ever had. Cooked fresh to order and in beef dripping the batter on the lovely fresh haddock was a crispy deep golden brown and the chips were properly good not pale and anaemic. Get there early because they close at 6.30pm.
