Says outside children's menu, inside no children's food, like having to buy adult cheese burgers which were rubbish for £10 each approx. We had jacket potatoes with cheese, the cheese was just strips of cheese.,not grated. All in all poor & very expensive.

We have eaten here every time we have visited Scarborough but was disappointed with our recent visit.A member of staff asked us if we were ready to order before I had even sat down (2 children to sort) I said no but would order drinks. She brought the drinks out and seconds later a very rude waitress came over and said your bill is X amount, how are you paying? Not even a hello or would you mind paying...Food was not up to normal standards either. My daughter ordered sausage, mash and beans. There was literally 2 ice cream scoops of mash, one sausage and a spoonful of beans. She was still hungry after.... never seen a kids portion so small!Won't be visiting again 😕

Very nice seafront bar/cafe, staff friendly and quick to serve, superb spot to stop for a drink or to eat , inside or out. Would recommend a visit.

If you are ever in Scarborough this is a pub to visit. Fantastic food and great service. The decor inside is really amazing and have been here a few times now, will be going again when I visit

I really enjoyed the food here, very nice staff and quick service. They shut a little early but it's definently a good place to go and eat. Very recommended. It's right on the coast.

Visited Oct 2021 on a cool grey windy day, yet the warm welcome from staff instantly made us all warm inside. The food is absolutley amazing, perfectly cooked and delicious at prices that certainly won't break anyone's bank. Like the Tardis (from Dr Who) it looks small from the outside but there's plenty of room inside, and during summer days, what better than to have a drink or meal outside.

Our favourite restaurant in Scarborough is always the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary in which we held our reception there. Lovely location, fabulous menu with very friendly staff. We can't rate this place highly enough with it's splendid historical ambience befitting our perfect day.A great big thank you to Sarah and her lovely family and staff who make us feel special every time we visit.

Good menu choice, good prices, friendly staff. Very generous portions. Only downside is the toilets being up a flight of stairs.

Very disappointed with this establishment, the staff were doing their best, hence the 2 stars, however the food was mediocre at best, my steak was pre-cooked and luke warm whereas the scampi and chips were piping hot (same plate) refund was immediate.Having been told to arrive early so they could shut early, which we did, along with the lack of concern over the food seems to show a certain attitude towards customers.I won't be visiting again.

Positive: Location. Lovely sitting near the harbour.Negative: My 'gourmet' burger was definitely not gourmet! I ordered the gourmet beef burger but had to add onions for £1. It arrived on dry buns with nothing but a dry patty and the onions! I had to add mayonnaise to this 'gourmet' burger just to be able to swallow it. My husband and I were very hungry so we ate and left. One shouldn't have to build their burger into a gourmet burger by adding what should be part of a normal burger at £1 per item. Very disappointing.
