Excellent customer service, fast and efficient and the lass who served me was very helpful, professional, with great initiative, went above and beyond. I was after a specific product for a friend but this branch had sold out, so she phoned their branch in Baxtergate to reserve the items for me to collect. Satisfied, happy customer. Popular shop that sells great products that are reasonably priced. Their ginger biscuits, apart from being big, are top notch as is their Yorkshire brack. Cat In the Wall in York serve Botham's Yorkshire brack and it's lovely. Botham's teacakes are huge too. You can also purchase, via post, a vampire selection hamper, featuring Death By Chocolate Muffin and Demeter Edition Whitby Gin. I would use this shop again and would recommend. Staff here know what they're doing.

Botham’s became our local bakery while we stayed in Whitby. The range of fresh breads gave us ample choices. The assortment of cakes was mouth watering, but a favourite was the stem ginger brack. To be had with a dollop of clotted cream…Mmmm!

Wonderful old fashioned tea room! We were served in a timely manner by very friendly and polite staff in comfortable surroundings. We opted for a light lunch of sandwiches. I can definitely vouch for the chicken, cranberry and brie, which was scrumptious. Overall, it felt like stepping back in time a little. Very much looking forward to visiting again.

My partner and I were really impressed by this lovely bakery. A great selection of pastries and other assorted treats and exceptional value for money. Everything tasted great, and we sampled a lot of their products. Definitely worth a visit for anyone popping into Whitby for the day.

Just had 2 pork pie hampers, a Mothers Day hamper and various cakes. WOW. Looks great. Already had the pork pies, they taste lovely.Can’t praise the quality of the product or the customer service highly enough.We will be purchasing more in the future.Thank you to Botham’s of Whitby.…Ok so this evening I’ve had the shortbread morsels, they were fantastic. The wife has had some of the Battenburg, she really enjoyed it!!!Again, thanks Bothams, we will be be back.

Everything I've ever bought in the shop is baked to perfection and delicious! The cakes are most decadent! The upstairs cafe is from another era. Silver tea pots. Uniformed waiting staff. Sounds formal, but the staff are lovely and friendly.

Lovely traditional tea room. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the best mochas that I've tried and my wife had a beautiful pot of tea and a delicious lemon bun. All for a very reasonable price. We'll definitely be back everytime we visit Whitby.

Delightful find in the quieter streets of Whitby. Stopped for a bite in the cafe upstairs - huge range of teas and coffees, tea breads, sandwiches and jacket potatoes. Quaint, pretty and elegant rooms. Relaxed and unhurried atmosphere.

A bit of nostalgia coming to Botham’s. We’ve brought biscuits from them when they have a stall at the York Christmas markets! So it was really nice to come to the actual shop! They have a delicious range of biscuits! The crunch is superb!! They also have a wide range of cakes, pastries, bread, teas and coffees! Looking forward to coming back for more delights!!
