Emma's diner in Scarborough

Absolutely amazing food, the portions are huge !!! So be prepared to bring some home in a box. The staff are so friendly, and are always on hand for anything you need. The atmosphere is really relaxing with some great classic 50’s and 60’s tunes in this great American diner themed restaurant. They also have an amazing selection of cocktails and soft drinks and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend a visit.

Charming themed restaurant. Staff beautifully adorned in 1950s attire. The music playing was great and entertaining AND they are open until 9pm on a Sunday as quite a few places on Whitby close at 8pm. Friendly and helpful. The food is plentiful and mainly American diner style - burgers chips salad etc.I had the spicy bean burger which was good but the bap was massive and too big for the burger; the chicken parmo for my partner was massive and they happily have take away box. You will definitely not go away hungry!The cocktail choice is good - recommend the peach gin cocktail! Yum.

We visited on a few occasions staff were great everything was immaculate breakfast is great the hot dogs are good and loaded nachos no guacamole but still loaded with flavour only downside was my partner ordered hot burger and when it came it was pink in middle got told it was seasoning but I inspected it and definitely raw they didn't charge for it but damage had been done to her and she didn't want to eat there again I would happily go there again loved the lemon top shakes

Nice themed eaterie with good food (parmo was too much for me). Cocktails were of their own design (think I'd have preferred a more standard choice) but still pleasant (gin and peach slices, lime, rosemary & tonic etc). I'd have tried other dishes but was late and full of parmo 😉

Wonderful attention to detail with the decor, staff look amazing too, and the food was just awesome!

The food was delicious. The food quantity is also very good. We ordered burgers, chicken salad and Nachos, everything was tasty

ExcellentThe staff were excellent, really nice and welcoming, the menu was very varied and would definitely cater for everyone.The atmosphere was easy going yet happy and upbeat. With a American 50s vibeThe food itself was simply superb, it only took 10 or so minutes to come, and it was delicious, fried chicken breast that was actually moist, juicy and tender, the flavour was beautiful.If you come to Whitby and don't fancy fish and chips, then this is the place to come!Only slight complaint is that it only takes cash, but still that's not a major issueExcellent!!!!!

Fantastic find on our holiday in Whitby. Our daughter Emma found it and said we had to go. We had evening meal and it was amazing . Our waitress Fiona was so lovely and welcoming made our experience extra special .. thank you so much.. we wish you a very busy season ahead. XXX 💕

Comfort food heaven! Being USA-inspired, cheese, cream and other comfort staples feature heavily but there were still plenty of choices for those trying not to be too indulgent (my veggie wife being one of them!). Well priced, friendly staff and great location. What's not to like? :)

The most amazing place I've ever eaten at! I'm a huge Halloween fan and this place is Halloween paradise at the right time of year! Food is amazing, drinks are incredible and so creative! Staff were so lovely and warming! Couldn't recommend enough, will definitely be revisiting when I'm next back in Whitby ❤️
