Filey Bistro and Coffee Bar Ltd in Scarborough

While I've only had 1 visit since the new owners have taken over from the previous fantastic owners . Im not doubting it's still a magical well maintained venue especially the garden ! . We are reluctant to return again due to seeing such unnecessary posts in detail regarding previous owners on social media ( all commenting turned off so nobody can have an opinion which i feel if your going to post publicly allow the public to have there say ) . I feel this is only going to drive custom away from you guys . They took care of us on every visit 10 star rating nothing was ever to much . We got engaged here had a visit whilst on honeymoon and many birthdays and just drop in for food and drinks. I'm not saying the new owners won't I'm just not happy to see a prior wonderful family have there name tarnished for no good reason

Delicious, fresh breakfast with great-quality produce. Staff were friendly and attentive which is great to ease you into a relaxing Sunday. Super Sunday service.

Popped in this afternoon with a friend of ours who has recently moved to Filey and the experience was a big let down. Sat outside and left to wait so in the end after a good 15mins we had to go inside twice to eventually get our order . We waited patiently again and the cake we had ordered came 10mins before the coffee that was luke warm.No point in complaining as we will not be going in again.This place has recently been taken over and standards have definitely dropped and with all the competition in Filey it really has to up its game .

Brilliant food at a decent price. Staff were top class, very attentive but not overwhelming and they didn’t try and rush us out even though it was quite busy.

This was our first visit yesterday. We both had a large breakfast. Really nice, very fresh with quality bacon and sausage. Very clean and was suprised how big the bistro was. Also has a beautiful outside area too.

Had a lovely lunch here. Good food, friendly service and prices are reasonable. Tables still well spaced.

Popped in for lunch on a flying visit to Filey. The menu was plentiful and various and what we sampled was very nice indeed, licenced too!!The staff were friendly and polite while running around making sure all the guests were looked after.The place was clean, tidy and all covid prepared.Overall a very nice place to eat. 👍

Lovely little bistro. We went for breakfast we were not disappointed. The staff were really nice and attentive. The breakfasts were great! Will certainly go back when we are next in Filey.

What a fab place! We weren't disappointed with our afternoon tea. Displayed on a mini picnic bench, it was all delicious ! Worth every penny. Lovely setting out the back too un some beautiful gardens. Great staff, attentive, efficient & friendly. Thank you!

We enjoyed breakfast so much we came back the following day! Great food, excellent service and well priced. Can highly recommend it.
