Fish and Chips at Snainton in Scarborough

Staying down the road at the campsite. Chippy for tea and we weren’t disappointed. Ordered by phone and it took less than a minute to serve once I got there. Perfect chips, tasty freshly fried fish and friendly staff. Price was very good too. Highly recommended.

Great food, great portions and great staff

ok I'm an offcumden from Skipton passing through starving after a long day working in Scarborough at the hospital, I stopped here and just ordered fish and chips, they were cooked to order, seemingly expensive...but actually it was a massive portion and totally worth the cost. VERY friendly patrons and the locals were so great I could happily move to Snainton.. Just need to know what the best pub is to complement the fish and chips and were in...

Great fish and chips very friendly helpful staff

Me and my dad came today for fish and chips, and let me to tell you, they are WONDERFUL. we're from Whitby so we know what good fish and chips taste like and this place tops even the best Whitby fish and chip shops. The staff were so amazing and friendly. Will definitely be back and would reccomend to anyone thinking about going

We have just bought a holiday cottage a few minutes walk away, tried Snainton Fish & Chips for the first time this evening - easily some of the very best we have had in the area. Very fresh fish, crispy batter, friendly staff, highly recommended! The chip shop also has a convenience store attached so you can pick up all your essentials at the same time - brilliant!

Brilliant fish and chips - but what marked this place out was the amazing helpfulness of the owner and his staff. We were a big family group and we were offered use of the seating area behind the shop which was very welcome. Sauces and condiments were brought for us and they offered a cup of tea if needed. Afterwards, they helped with the clearing up. Excellent value and very highly recommended.
