Honey Pot Inn in Scarborough

Beautiful Sunday Lunch, lovely staff and a great atmosphere in the pub too. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was piping hot when served and plenty of the plate too, with lots of homemade Gravy! We'll definitely return and thoroughly recommend, thank you so much xx

Arrived without a booking & was sat down very quickly. Pub was very cold & it was a cold day. Food was not great... Mine faired better than my partners who said it was tasteless & bland.. We probably wouldn't return if in the area...

Every time we've been, for years, this food has always been absolutely perfect.

First and last time. Quality of food was poor, based on the chips I anticipate the fryer oil requires a change and the service was extremely slow. Waiting at the bar for a drink was the longest wait ever. Spoiled Sunday afternoon. Thanks

Wow first time visit to the honeypot inn near Bridlington and I'll promise you this it won't be our last, I had myself the Fred Flintstones full rack of ribs ( see picture ) and my wife had the midweek roast ( chicken ) I've never seen a menu with such a massive choice ..... within a 10 minute drive from Filey and Bridlington and well worth a visit, fantastic friendly staff from the bar staff to the waiters/waitress even down to lady who took the booking over the phone who went out of her way to fit us in ....... Absolutely fantastic ( the chips and peas didn't fit on the plate so are sat in a dish to the side ) .... Please press like if this was helpful .....

Visited there with friends, one of whom recommended it from when he lived in the area some time ago.To say that we were blown away by the food here at the Honey Pot would be an understatement.I can personally recommend the curries on the menu. The chef is a former merchant marine whole learned to cook authentic Indian food while living there.Just simply WOWGet there and enjoy a fabulous feed.

Our first visit to the Honeypot Inn did not disappoint. Turned up without a reservation and managed to be squeezed in, which we really appreciated. We had the Lamb Rogan Josh, Sweet & Sour Chicken, andLemon Roulade for dessert. Firstly the food opinions... absolutely delicious. Give our compliments to the chef, he really knows how to cook. My hubby is a bit of a curry expert and he was most impressed. Secondly, the bar staff... excellent, very friendly, and helpful, in particular Lachlan. He came to check on our meals to see if we were okay, this was the first pub in 5 nights of different pubs visits someone has done that. I also watched him cleaning the tables and bar area, and he was very thorough which was most reassuring in these times.All in all top notch, highly recommended pub, please keep up the good work.

Excellent food value for money. The staff were very efficient. I had made a reservation weeks in advance and told them the occasion was my husband's 50th birthday. They kindly reserved us a section of the pub that our party had all to ourselves . They had also kindly decorated it with banners. A truly enjoyable evening had by all of us

Just been to The Honeypot for Fathers Day dinner.Highly recommend.Great portion sizes, and value. And excellent choice with vegetarian and vegan menus, as well as gluten free options. Staff were friendly and helpful.My vegetarian shepherds pie was lovely, will definitely be back.
