Hungry Horse in Scarborough

Really poor, waited for over 40 minutes for the sizzling platters which were just dried pieces of meat (and no sizzle). The accompanying vegetables were soggy in oil . Disappointed. I've ordered this before and it was lovely ....not this time and wasn't worth over 10.00 !!!!

Lovely staff and great food. Visited with the family. The place looks brilliant after the refurb. Would definitely recommend!

Shocking. A hour and a half wait for barely luke warm food. The staff were very nice and apologetic tho and had explained that they were expecting staff problems. I did get a full refund and an apology from the nice manager behind the bar. I will be going back to try again in the future tho, hopefully they will have resolved there issues.

Felt very cosy for a larger pub. Very comfortable, with good beer and the food was great value for money. We would go back if we were passing.

Absolutely fab night. Ordered a table through the App. Got sat down... ordered the food & drinks through the App.... food and drinks arrived promptl, even though it was very busy! Excellent, very impressed with the whole evening

Family friendly, huge menu choice, good value and great portion sizes! You can also use Tesco club card vouchers to pay for food. Friendly and hard working staff.

Stopped off here to visit the venue on my travels whilst up North.The staff offer a warm and friendly welcome. We were shown to a booth and kids were offered crayons and pictures to colour in.I had the Chicken New Yorker and a pint of Carlsberg, both were excellent and I would highly recommend the chicken New Yorker if you are a chicken fanSoon the venue will be launching a free to play smartphone quiz on a Thursday evening with great prizes up for grabs.The venue has a good sized carpark also, so get you quiz team assembled and head on down!ColinQuiz Live BDM

Food and service was decent for this type of place, good value, tasty food and the new ordering system is excellent. Let down a little by the presentation of my lasagna. You can see the difference between expectation and reality from the photos 😂

I was looking for a nice pub in the area for lunch while visiting and I found this place. I remembered seeing a hungry horse pub on Beard meats food and thought this was the place for me as I love a big burger. Glad I did choose this pub as the food was delicious, service fab and the food was brought out by our delightful server in good time. Everyone in the party cleared their plate. I opted for the bacon and cheese burger (double of course) and it was very tasty and I highly recommend it. The food is also very reasonably priced with food offers for every day of the week.
