Amazing weekend away at the Ivanhoe Scarborough.Great hosts and the room was brilliant.5 minute drive from the centre and free parking.The food was amazing and the prices were great for the quality and quantity.Can’t wait to get back next year

We stayed in August as I had booked my husband tickets for a concert at the open air venue. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and the downstairs has been completed to a good standard. They are now working their way through the bedrooms which are in need of refurbishment. Our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the golf course. We were made to feel welcome and the room met our needs. The open air concert venue is about 10 mins walk away, slightly longer on the way back up the hill.Breakfast was great as was our evening meal.

The first thing we noticed was how cold it was inside here and we were sat away from any doors!!! Bar staff were wearing fleece jackets!!! The food was less than average but the price wasn't!!! Its such a nice place but it felt void of any basic TLC which us quite sad.We won't be returning here for food in a hurry and we are locals.....maybe sit outside with a drink in summer but other than that it's not for me!!!

At last this Pub is moving in the right direction after many years of neglect! Good staff & decent beers! Also had the best Gammon steak I have had in years!!! Huge plate all cooked to a perfect tasting meal. Highly Recommend!!

Myself and four hungry friends spent the whole evening in here. Fantastic food, good size portions, perfectly cooked and spot on prices. Seen some stonebaked pizzas comming out of the kitchen for other customers too. These looked fantastic and I shall be returning soon to try.The beer was spot on. Perfectly pulled, full pints, of real ale.Couldn't fault the place. Spotless, nice atmosphere; a perfect pub doing what a pub should.And a special thanks to "Mel" for looking after us all so very well.

We stayed here for the Duran Duran concert and its a great place to stay if you are seeing a show at the Open air theatre. A short walk to the venue which was downhill going and uphill coming back so wear good comfy shoes!! We stayed in Room 4 which was great for my sister and I as its 2 single beds that were soooo comfy. Yellow and grey check modern colour scheme,little bathroom with shower,warm room I slept like a log. Breakfast was cooked English,PLEASE INFORM STAFF IF YOU ARE VEGAN AS THEY NEED TO PRE ARRANGE THE ITEMS!!! Staff here are lovely and friendly and the golden retriever is just adorable. I think if I ever stay in Scarborough again then I'm going to stay here just off the beaten track. Pub,hotel,lovely outside beer garden,good parking and play area for kids. Definitely 10/10. 👍😁

Lovely place, very friendly staff. Food is excellent and cooked to order with a little extra waiting time but well worth it. Good sized portions and my 9 year old said it's the best pizza ever. Just wish we had found earlier in our holiday as would have been back.

Had a lovely family lunch here yesterday. Plenty of choice on the menu and all the meals were delicious. A really relaxing setting with plenty of room between the tables, and excellent & friendly service. You do have a bit of a wait for the food to come, but this is because all meals are cooked fresh (and there is a sign to advise you of this when you arrive). Wasn't a problem for us as it just gave us a bit more time to relax and talk. Food was great value and we will be back in future.
