We usually go to Bonnets but they we're closed. We tried Le Cafe Jardin for the first time. Four different types of coffee's ordered for four people. Sat inside- fairly cold outside. All the coffee's tasted like hot milk. Coffee must have been watered down (it was late afternoon and they were close to closing) or they used an extremely weak/cheap strength of coffee. We won't be returning unfortunately.

Staff were friendly and my grandmas food was lovely- my panini however was a bit cardboardy but drink was lovely :) <3

The ONLY place to eat in Scarborough! Fantastic place, spacious and clean. Extensive menu filled with many delicious top quality foods for all pallettes at such great prices. A visit to the cake counter is a must! Great for all ages, appetites and dietary requirements too. Excellent service

As always a lovely meal. We were served by Beth and she could not have been more helpful. Pleasant staff and good food 👍

Came to this place seen as it was close to our hotel and was top of the pile on Google reviews. Was pleasantly surprised despite the good reviews didn't expect it to be as nice as it was, credit where credit is due! I had a typical English breakfast but with no bacon, I was offered an extra sauce but declined, wish I hadn't of now! My partner had pancakes, maple syrup and bacon, she couldn't finish it all so I ate the rest. Fruit juices were good too, staff friendly and prices about what you'd expect. Happy days.

This is an amazing place to visit / eat.As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with a friendly smile and a welcome.Once seated, we were also quickly served. The food and drink also arrived promptly, and tasted superb! There's plenty of seating on multiple levels too.You will not be disappointed, and won't leave feeling hungry! The price is really good too. Would highly recommend.

VERY happy coeliac finding a lovely restaurant which has its own gluten free menu! Lots to choose from, I had the lasagne and it was amazing, the flavour wasn't compromised with it being gluten free. I also got the option of a lovely slice of gluten-free carrot cake afterwards which was delicious! The staff are so lovely and on hand for any queries- very friendly and accommodating. Would really recommend this place gluten-free or not- my other half had a huge burger and said it was fantastic and my little boy had a snack box. Really accomodating of children and families so a fabulous all rounder.

I hate writing poor reviews but Le Jardine has left me no choice as the current rating is misleading owing to the quality and service we received today. 5 items from the menu not available, 2 accompaniments also not available. Had to go with 4th choice of meal and was only convinced not to go elsewhere by my partner. Massive choice on the menu which is part of the problem of not ensuring adequate stock. Service was slow, despite social distancing taking out lots of the tables. Waited over 25 minutes for drinks. Milkshakes were tasteless and sadly not worth the wait. Food came and it looked good, although the burger was a child-size burger and so overcooked so it was dry. We were not asked if our meals were OK at any point. We came a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the food and service however on this occasion it has fallen well short of expectations and below minimum acceptable level in my opinion. We wont be returning. I tried to have a constructive conversation with the manager and she was incredibly rude to me and another customer who complained. This has made the 3 star review a 2 star. I will be contacting the owner of the business and I'm sure they will be interested to hear the feedback.
