Mademoiselles in Scarborough

The smallest main meal i’ve ever had, starter size for £20. 3 pork ribs and some lettuce leaves with chips £4 extra. shocking portions and not a very friendly reception from staff until we left a good tip, it’s a beautiful place but not much atmosphere. won’t be going back

Its beautiful and so is the food...so glad we went and when we should ever return to Whitby, mademoiselle will be first on our list....Fantastic

popped in for drinks. wifes cocktail was great. a bit disappointed cider was a can, but staff, atmosphere and decor still make it 5 stars

Nice enough place extremely limited menu basically charcuterie boards, not worth the money to be honest, staff friendly and attentive but seems to be more of a bar /drinks place now, only a choice of a few hot mains 3 in total bit disappointing

Beautiful room and beautiful food. The owner was so accommodating and friendly and we were made to feel really welcome. Would definitely recommend for a boutique experience.

Friendly on arrival. Good menu. Nice place and atmosphere. However, par-baked bread with chicken liver parfait. Catch of the day was nice but two fillets, not a whole fish which "catch of the day" suggested. Both mains served with frozen fries. Asked if we enjoyed, we said we were disappointed. Kind offer of a glass of wine if we returned, but we won't.

A little gem of a place, fantastic food and service , highly recommend a visit!!!

Amazing food! Very nice atmosphere and outstanding service! I took out my girlfriend for our anniversary and we got treated very good! Only wish they had more vegetarian options.

Nice decor and pleasant staff. The court yard was pretty and cosy with lighting and heaters. The food was very disappointing, we both had fillet steak which was over cooked and served with wet shop prepared salad leaves and under cooked French fries. Very expensive at £32 each. The menu was quite limited.

Amazing food! Absolutely loved it! So happy that the first place we could go to after lockdown was eased is this restaurant. Superb service and of course incredible food. One of the best mussels I’ve had as well as the steak. Definitely recommend!!!
