Monsoon Indian cuisine in Scarborough

We got the Indian Banquet for 2, it was delivered promptly to the caravan park and it was delicious! The staff was very helpful when ordering on the phone and patient I had horrendous phone signal!!The starters and sides was TDF 👌 the mains and sides were equally delicious! A lot of gorgeous food for a great price 👍We will be ordering again when we’re back in the region.

We booked a table for Saturday evening, we had amazing service and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a lovely meal in Filey.

I placed a takeaway order over the phone. When I got home after picking it up the order was wrong. I rang to say and they said they'd send a delivery man with the correct order. They rang me back and said it would be 20 mins and if I still wanted my order. I said yes. It never arrived.

Made a large order for collection.On a positive note there was no issues with the taste of the food and the meat was tender and palatable.The biggest issue was portion size and we didn't feel the meal offered good value for money.The curry containers were 3/4 full, the nans were slightly bigger than a large pitta bread and to charge £1.95 for 1 chapati is scandalous. One would expect 3 chapatis as as a standard portion at a curry house. No complimentary salad and just one tiny container of mint sauce for an order for 5 people! If you eat like a mouse, go ahead you will enjoy it but we felt the portions were stingy. We got far better value from the Chinese the previous night.Am guessing this place does OK as it has a captive audience and the other curry house on Filey is dire.

Lovely food, fresh and flavoursome. Best Indian restaurant in Filey by a long way. Vegetable curry’s have a good variety of fresh vegetables

My wife and I came to Monsoon first following repeat recommendations from our in laws. We were visiting Filey for a week, and loved the restaurant so much we went twice. The curries were very flavourful and well cooked, we go to a lot of Indian restaurants (as they're our favourite go to meal) and Monsoon is now easily our favourite.Rash and the team were very friendly and welcoming, offering advice and recommendations on different dishes to suit our tastes. We couldn't fault them in any way.Even though we visited on a stormy week in late February, it's well worth booking in advance as the restaurant was (justifiably!) busy both nights we went there, but despite this the service was excellent and we felt well attended to throughout.Absolutely fantastic experience all round, we would not hesitate to recommend Monsoon to anyone visiting Filey (or close enough to visit!)
