Fantastic evening here last night. Truly delicious food and have already recommended it to other people. My pizza (Verde) was really good however, my partners cannelloni was the true star of the show! Beautiful, creamy fantastic pasta dish that was clearly homemade and divine. Staff and atmosphere were also all very lovely and made for a fantastic date night! Thanks Moutreys

Had an absolutely fantastic meal last night. Both dishes we excellent and Di mare pasta dish was full of chucky fish which was full of flavour. The staff we're very friendly, accommodating and efficient. We come here every year and will definitely be booking our table again next year. Thanks

Small but busy restaurant. We were lucky to get a table when we went in on the off chance.Di Mare was amazing and great value for money. Really tasty and served really really hot.Macaroni cheese special was tasty - took a while to eat as the dish was super hot when it came out!Garlic bread is delicious definitely recommend.Seating is somewhat cramped in areas and as a consequence could do with air con as the corner table under the stairs where we were seated was rather hot!Otherwise definitely a place we'd go back to.

Nice and homely family run restaurant. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The restaurant itself feels quite small and a little noisy at times, nonetheless, it’s a lively and lovely atmosphere and children/families are made to feel most welcome. There’s an extensive menu with all the usual dishes you would expect of a decent Italian restaurant and the prices are reasonable too. They serve good quality food that is well presented. Overall, it’s well worth a visit, recommend.

Booked in for our 2nd wedding anniversary. The sign on the door said please bare with us short of staff, well not a problem. I had the chorizo burger very nice. The staff very attentive and polite. Enjoyed the experience.

I've never had a bad meal here and the staff and always great. It's quite loud and cramped but that adds to the atmosphere. Great seeing the chefs at work in the open kitchen. Good takeaway pizzas too.

We thought pizza here would be great. We ordered Parma pizza and it was disappointing. They stingy on the topping. Service is not very good. The vibe and lighting is a bit dull. The best dishes are the chicken & wild mushroom fussili and desserts. Don't recommend Spagetthi Bolognese cos it's too dry and sour. I've never been to Italy to taste the Bolognese, but if the original tasted like this.. well it's not yummy.

Really great food and service! My partner has a nut allergy. The staff were really helpful and the kitchen was able to cater for him easily. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Whitby. Highly recommend the homemade dough balls!
