We called today and had a cup of tea on our journey north. We had a scone which was on the dry side good job for the butter and jam. I had a slice of coffee and walnut cake but there was no taste of coffee and there was a synthetic cream which was too thick and I left it. The staff were very friendly but the cakes need an overhaul.

Lovely little shop but by a main road with brown signs.Accessibility is good minus gravel carpark.Would give 5 stars if the carpark wasn't gravel but access is otherwise okay, smallish car park.Vegetables and fruit are fresh, they are honest not everything is British grown and label it by country.Average cost is about a £1-£3 but everything is high quality and very delicious.

Lovely cafe, it's clean, bright and fresh. The breakfast is amazing, hot, fresh and good quality food as well as plenty of it. The staff are very friendly and polite, I will be coming for another visit soon. Spot on 👍🏻

Good varied menu for small cafe using fresh ingredients from the farm shop. My grandson rates it as the best steak pie in Yorkshire - and he's tried several! The fillet steak from the farm shop is excellent as are many of the home made cakes and pastries.

We booked a table which was very easy on website. Arrived table was ready. I had soup which was very nice and home made and my friend had tea cake. There was plenty of lovely cake etc to choose from. Staff was very pleasant. Thankyou.

Lovely farm shop and cafe if you have an hour or so to kill. Can highly recommend the roast meat baps with chips and gravy to die for. All finished off with a large pot of tea. Delish.

Took the mother-in-law out for coffee there. Decent coffee and scones. M-I-L had quiche and salad which she really enjoyed. Very busy for a place that is not on the main road.

Enough room for parking which was great. Went here for breakfast for the first time which was a treat as the food was delicious. Hash browns aren't listed on the menu but when we asked for some they had them - so worth asking for. Full English was spot on even substituted my lack of black pudding for extra toast when asked. Staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was really nice and calm they even have outdoor seating if you so wish. Food was delicious and tasted very fresh. Decor very rustic fitting for a farm shop was very homely. Would definitely recommend coming here for your breakfast if staying in the area it was our first time, hopefully of many. Only teeny adjustment would be instead of teabag in tea pot getting some loose leaf earl grey breakfast tea I think it'd be a great touch. Also some sourdough bread instead of regular bread. The actual farm shop was also great we got some Yorkshire honey which was amazing always great to support local beekeepers ❤🌻All in all though - spot on!
