Lovely Italian with fantastic and wonderful food. Book in advance to be sure of a table. Happy hour from 5pm for an hour with excellent prices. Enjoy!

From being seated by a lovely waitress our experience fell short of our expectations. Not offered any bread and told no ribs although the restaurant was by no means packed. The starters were borderline for complaining, 5 calamari for me and a prawn cocktail that wouldn't have looked out of place in a cheap supermarket. At no time during our meal did any member of staff ask if we were satisfied yet tables I can only surmise were occupied by locals seemed to be regularly attended to. We have only recently moved to Filey and felt underwhelmed by our experience. Luckily for San Marco there is very little competition but we will be trying the Bella Italia next time for hopefully a better dining experience.

After reading reviews online I knew we had to book a table here & we were not disappointed. My parents & I ate here twice this week and both times we were welcomed by friendly staff, enjoyed great food and wine. The food is piping hot & plentiful and so tasty , with a good selection of wines too. The lemon cheesecake & tiramisu were especially nice ! Yum! To anyone thinking of going, get a table booked and go!

We visited San Marco when staying in Filey last weekend and it was lovely! The food was very nice and the staff were so polite and helpful! I did feel like I had to shout a bit to speak to my partner but that’s understandable with such a popular little restaurant, doesn’t change my opinion of the place! I would 100% visit again when next in Filey.

Never fails to disapoint. The best place to eat in Filey by a long distance. Lovely light environment, good menu, very good food with excellant service
