This is a lovely cafe over looking the beach. If its a nice day its lovely to sit outside but when we visited it was raining but managed to get a seat inside. The cafe is always lovely and clean. There's a good selection on the menu and food is cooked fresh. There's always lovely cakes and ice cream too.Service is always quite slow and there's usually a wait at the counter to order but it's fine if you are not in a rush. There's one single toilet.Inside it is not very pushchair or wheelchair friendly as it is very small. They do offer a take away service so you can go and sit on the beach.

Lovely wee place on the seafront with sheltered seats. Staff were really lovely and food was good. The reason for 4 stars was simply that the sandwich bread was a little dry but it was near closing time so suspect that was the reason. Shame though as would easily have been 4 stars otherwise. Lovely seats inside too and cakes were delicious

Very nice coffee and the interior looked very clean. Great views when sat outside and screens kept the wind off. Ordered 2x Flat Whites extra hot (unfortunately they weren't) one cup had a dry coffee stain on the outside. I've noticed this on another review so I think they need to improve their washing up 🤔

Love this cafe! It can be very busy in peak times but that’s because the views and the crab sandwiches are absolutely amazing 🤩 😋

A welcome stop after a walk from Whitby. Indoor and outdoor seating and a good choice of sandwiches and cakes. My only grumble would be that the cups were very stained which is a little off-putting. Great lemon drizzle cake though!

Sat outside with our 2 dogs on a fine, dry January day - we'll wrapped up! Ordered 2 plates of sandwiches and a pot of tea for 2. Sandwiches arrived after only a few minutes. They were served with a lovely pot of homemade relish and a side salad with hand cooked crisps. Very nice! Staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. Recommended!

Just what you need on a blustery, cold morning after a long beach walk with our dog. The cakes look awesome and if the public loos are still closed, you've somewhere to go. Did I mention the stunning views from the terrace?

Had a walk down the beach on Boxing Day and were surprised to see the cafe open! Had a lovely deluxe hot chocolate. Highly recommended.

Friendly, busy but plenty of space to dine in. Served quickly. Great views. Recommended by me 😋

Lovely cafe on the waterfront. Outdoor seating due to covid, felt safe. The clear screens really keeps the wind off as well so it’s enjoyable to eat outside rather just endure it! Also allows you to have a great view of the water. Toilets weren’t open so you have to use the public ones down the road (April 2021).We had the fish tacos and pulled pork bun from the specials board to share between the two of us. They were really tasty but the fish tacos were really spicy so we didn’t enjoy them as much as we had hoped. We’ve been before (in normal times!) and always enjoyed the food. Paninis and cakes particularly tasty.
