I have tried numerous fish and chips throughout the UK and these are the best I have ever had. Cannot really see how they can improve on them, superb!

We used this 'chippy' for the first time recently and I have to say I was impressed. The fish was beautifully cooked and the batter was tasty. The chips were also nicely cooked and not at all greasy. The service was quick and friendly so all in all a good experience and we will be going back again soon.

Disappointed. Batter on fish was chewy not crispy. Haddock was lacking in taste and chips were nearly cold. Sorry Seamer Fisheries. Have previously enjoyed your take aways. What happened?

Very welcoming staff, took our order in no time, our food was cooked fresh. The meal was really tasty and we left nothing for the dog 😁 Only open until 8pm on Saturday.

Good fish and chip shops are increasingly hard to find but make no mistake this isn't just a good chippy it's more of a great one! In a time where the word traditional is used by the masses in terms of marketing their chip shop. The reality is few seldom are traditional and able to offer really top notch quality and fresh products like this chippy does. The Yorkshire coast is primarily Haddock territory. Though this chippy offers both and both are excellent, really excellent! The batter is light but crisp. The fish both Haddock & Cod flawless the chips utterly superb having just the right amount of crunch whilst not being soggy or sharp respectively. The value was excellent and the mushy peas as good as I can ever remember having! They even use real proper vinegar you can actually taste and the service was exemplary! Beef dripping to fry in and whilst the fish was frozen at sea, you'd never know that it wasn't fresh instead of frozen at sea they are that good! Highly recommended the food, staff and it's open Sunday tea time from 4 o'clock. I'm going to award this place my very own accolade of excellence. I just couldn't fault it at all. Blinding chippy I highly recommend you go and discover it yourself. I guarantee you will not be disappointed! 6 stars all the way from me for this chippy!!!!!!
