Fantastic fish, pleasant polite staff, on the seafront. And one of the nicest (and seriously thick) milkshakes I've ever had 😁 Plenty of seating and didn't have to wait long. Would certainly recommend!

Sian made our visit lovely. She went out of her way make sure we got what we wanted (which were a few things) and was generally really friendly. Overall a lovely restaurant too: lovely decor, high quality food and a nice atmosphere.

Quite possibly the worst fish and chips I have ever had. I didn’t think it was hard to get fish and chips so wrong, but I stand corrected. I’m not sure which was worse, the sorry excuse for fish and chips or the miserable monster that served us. All round terrible experience, I should have taken the lack of queue as a tell tale sign; however, my hungry stomach got the better of me. I was most looking forward to my cup of tea to accompany my fish and chips, however, the cup smelled like dog food and quite frankly, it was very off-putting. If there was an option to submit 0 stars, I would.For your own sake, avoid at all costs.

Lovely fish and chips ! The best in Scarborough, we eat at winking willys every time we visit. The staff are super friendly and made time for my young daughter. Especially the young man who served us in the restaurant side.

Great fish and ships, had the whopper and it was delicious. Staff always attentive and friendly. Definitely my go too place for fish and chips in Scarborough.

For what you pay, you don't get much fish. Plenty of chips but not enough fish. Especially when this place has such a known positive reputation. The side of chips was far less than the portion that came with my fish and chips.However... credit where given, it tastes good.

Winking Willy's was excellent. Fish was fresh and cooked to perfection in a crisp batter that wasn't too thick. Chips also freshly cooked and a good sized portion. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Cleanliness was to a high standard which is important to me as I taught basic food hygiene in the past.Thanks very much and we'll be back again next time we are in Scarborough.

No better place to go for some good old fish and chips! Come here every year I’m down Scarborough and it never fails to impress. Pleasant and helpful staff, beautiful fish and chips (I got the haddock and my boyfriend got the cod) with great portion sizes, all whilst sitting on the upstairs balcony with a gorgeous view of the harbour, what more could you ask for?🐟🍟.UPDATE- Of course returned again this year and the food was just as beautiful! Unfortunately didn’t have the weather for sitting on the balcony this time but was just as nice sitting inside. Very clean and lovely staff👌🏽.
