Small Fry in Scarborough

Quaint, run by 2 sisters for over 42 years, they certainly know how to fry. Delicious haddock fish supper, cooked to perfection! Large portion size and good price too. The ladies deal in cash only no card payments. Worth the walk to nearest card machine. Like going back in time to the good old days. Thank you Smallfry!

The best fish and chips for miles ! We regularly travel from York and are always welcomed like old friends by Karen and Jane. I dont even have to ask for what we normally have as they just know.Excellent service and fab fish and chips. 10/10 all round !

Excellent quality fish and chips and immaculately kept shop and surroundings. Definitely up there with the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The only downside I would say is the price to portion ratio, but I suppose there needs to be a trade-off somewhere. To summarise, I would recommend to anybody who appreciates quality food.

I was recommended Smallfry by a long standing Scarborough resident and I’ve had no better fish/chips elsewhere, the 2 ladies who run the place are friendly, genuine and you leave with the feeling of wanting to return time and time again, the food is brilliant and very reasonably priced, keep it up girls !

The fish and chips were delicious and the curry sauce was excellent 👌 definitely go back here again, also the staff were lovely.

This little 'chippy' has been run by the same two sisters for as long as I can remember and they are always polite and make you feel special when you call in. The quality of their fish n chips is second to none and they still wrap the food in paper, no boxes here. I usually call on on my way home from work on a Friday and I can honestly say, I've never been disappointed in my chippy tea. Well recommended.

Excellent food and service. I recommend Small Fry to anyone in the vicinity. Thank you. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. And we were served as Queens. The warmth, aquarium and music just added to the pleasure.
