Station Tavern in Scarborough

No Christmas dinner because of covid apparently told the day before ! more like low staff as happened twice before we never received a refund . From memory £80 their loss we spent that a week till they did this Rosette or byways is better Al round , bit rough !

Nice pit stop. Good food and wine at reasonable price. Friendly reception on arrival at the bar and they checked back on us throughout.

you lucky that you get 1 star from me. I would leave you zero if I could. food terrible and over priced. kids had pop and it was flat and I put money in the gamble machine and won but failed to pay out and still not received any money from it. terrible service and customer service skills

I went for a meal with my wife's family. The food was really nice. A couple of very minor issues, the meal I wanted wasn't available, not a big thing so I chose something else from the steaks. When I was served my meal I wasn't presented with a steak knife, again not a big things. Overall a very good experience and would definitely go for a meal there again when I'm in the area

You go to a Marston's to have the consistency no matter where in the country you are. Crown Tavern ticks all the boxes, foods good, hot and quickly served. (The Guinness is also great here which can be 50/50 with most pubs).Kate (Manager) and Shane (cook) both went out of their way to make sure we were looked after all from the moment we walked in. Lovely atmosphere due to their hard work and attitude.Added bonus, they were practicing their Christmas table dressing and our 3 kids loved opening the crackers and wearing their hats.

The Crown Tavern is back! I recently went back after a bad experience a few years ago with some girl friends on a hen do and was wonderful surprised by the lovely food, good drink selection (& prices) but mainly the attentive staff. Having been back this evening to treat my 6 year old at the Halloween party and oh my days the new people are nailing it! 3 of us had dinner and it was lovely, served hot & decent sized meals. The party was brilliant, Louise the host already had the kids eating out of her hands - and then she opened her mouth to sing and she was amazing!! Yet again the staff were friendly, helpful & hands on, which is exactly what the punters want!I’m a fan - the Crown Tavern is back - go see for yourself :)

Usual Marstons pub with food on offer and the decor. However ,although we didn't complain about our food due to us being so hungry but it wasn't the best. The staff who served us were lovely,welcoming and friendly. Whilst waiting for food we played pool. The pub had a few customers inside and outside but wasn't overly busy.

Very nice staff, a nice atmosphere, clean and welcoming. The burger was big, hot and well made and the chef did a great job. Highly recommended.

Went for a friend's 50th and the staff couldn't have been any nicer! The food was lovely, reasonably priced and efficient service......we'll definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious, very friendly staff and a warm feel when you first walk through the door, the food is delicious and filling. Outstanding flavours will definitely recommend to everyone to visit.
