Taylors in Scarborough

Called in a few weeks ago and the staff were so helpful. Me and the wife had a bottle of Prosecco and the whole experience was ace. Saw plenty of food leaving the kitchen and it all looked great.

Nipped into Taylor's last night during our walk for a drink but ended up staying for food because the dishes they were bringing out to other tables looked delicious. I had the halloumi burger with mushrooms and my partner had the beef burger with blue cheese. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and were pleasantly surprised! Will definitely eat here again!

It’s a really nice restaurant lovely staff, lovely food shame it’s a bit pricey but granted you get a humongous portion we were served around about 2:20pm Wednesday the 9th of march by a very chatty helpful young guy with catching blue eyes couldn’t fault him he pulled a perfect pint and was lovely. Shame about the customer base though as they kept staring at me and my partner making us feel very out of place (we are younger than the general demographic that entered this restaurant) but that’s surely no reason for them to stare like I said though the actual bar staff and food was lovely so I couldn’t fault the establishment just the customers.

Sorry to say but failed on numerous levels. My wife asked for a scone and whilst the server was getting one they all tumbled onto the bar. These were then picked up by hand and put back undoubtedly to be served to another customer. One of 2 drinks was served wrongly despite saying clearly what had been ordered. Although my slice of cake was delicious my wifes scone was very basic with limited fruit.

Enjoyed a meal here with my partner and kids the other day and it was absolutely amazing the food was delicious and the kids meals are excellent value for money the portion sizes are great you won’t leave hungry ! We sat upstairs and enjoyed sea views as we ate. We will deffo be back again. I highly recommend.

Popped in for early doors food and drinks before going to the theatre. Nice menu and really enjoyed the vegan nachos, and we added the three bean chilli which was very, very tasty. Staff all pleasant and especially the lass who sold us a bottle of Prosecco! Nice view of the beach too 🤩

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to the staff at Taylors. Last weekend they helped me arrange a surprise party and it was the best. Food awesome, staff amazing, venue brilliant. And that was from everyone who went. Fantastic!

Dog friendly: our dog was allowed indoors with us and was made a fuss of. The staff are very friendly, just lost one star as the "Yorkshire ham" in the sandwich I ordered was processed squares more likely from a supermarket than a butcher.

I ate lunch here today (Saturday 31st July) with my two children. We were greeted by a staff member who was very attentive and showed us to a cleaned down table and explained that once I knew what we were ordering I needed to take note of my table number which is clearly marked on the table and go to the bar and order. I was served by a lovely young girl who took my order very efficiently and actually read back my order to make sure all was correct,, thought this was a very good idea. Your given your drinks at the bar and the food is brought out to your table with cutlery and condiments. I ordered a chicken salad which was amazing taste sensation,, a proper salad with all the extras very well worth the money. Kids meals were fantastic too and value for money seen as you get a free fruit shoot with them too. We had a lovely experience,, all staff were very welcoming they were cleaning tables once customers left,, seems nice to know they are still following the covid rules. We all left with full tummy’s and will defo be returning again. Well done Taylor’s 🤩
