Terry's Restaurant in Scarborough

We called in here late yesterday afternoon, amazing food, great friendly staff, good sized portions. Two of us had house specials, absolutely gorgeous fish, light batter, loads of lovely chunky home made chips, great mushy peas too. My friend had fish butty, said the fish was the best. The battered sausage got a great thumbs up too as did the curry sauce.We hadn’t realised they closed early on a Sunday, until we were leaving, at no point did we feel rushed whatsoever through our, which we all enjoyed. We had fantastic service and food and would definitely recommend Terrys to everyone.Thank you for a wonderful meal 😃

Really really enjoyable. No waiting time, staff friendly and the fish was lovely and fresh. Curry sauce was so tasty. Couldn’t fault it at all. The restaurant itself was nice and clean, would definitely return when back in Whitby. Thankyou

We went here today for cod and chips with mushy peas and a slice of bread and butter and a cuppa it was absolutely gorgeous we will definitely be coming again.5 🌟 all around the staff were amazing which made us really happy and it was spotless the elderly lady was forever cleaning the tables and menus and everything else 🙂

Fish butty from the takeaway was nice but the staff had absolutely no manners at all. He made a small noise when I said thank you. Costs nothing to be polite, best to remember that when running a business

Had lunch here yesterday, could not have been more fresher, beautiful fish. Great, friendly staff.

Very nice fish and chips. Had the £10.50 "special" including mushy peas and pot of tea. Sat upstairs with a nice view, but was very warm. Staff friendly. Deducted one star as a bit mean on the chips. This was the same on all 4 of our meals.

Lovely food at good prices and the staff are very friendly.

Went in Wednesday 30/6/21 can't fault the place. Sat us down almost immediately. 4 in our party had the special fish chips peas and a tea or coffee £10.50 each. No complaints second time I've been here would recommend especially seated upstairs for the view.
