Thai Orchid in Scarborough

Excellent food and service.

Another accidental discovery whilst looking for a meal. We'd ended up getting back late due to traffic and had less time to find somewhere to eat. Staff were absolutely lovely and let us in even though they were closing within the hour. Service was quick and the food was nice. Pricing was a bit more expensive but definitely worth it. My curry was a bit on the spicy side for my tastes, but that's just my opinion and others with a higher spice tolerance would probably enjoy it! The woman who served us was also really great and let us back in after I'd forgotten the keys for our flat.

Had a lovely meal at Thai Orchid last night. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a mixed platter and Tofu panang curry and would highly recommend both dishes! The service was also 10/10 the staff that served us were all very welcoming. Will definitely be going back!

Delicious authentic Thai food. We got their chicken satay which was super juicy, pad Thai which tasted really authentic, red curry and sticky rice 😍

Turned up on speck, no reservation. Were seated and served no problem. Good was great and VERY tasty. We will be back again. Thank you

The food here is fantastic. I started with chicken satay which are is the best I have ever had. Then I followed this with massaman curry. The sauce was so delicious I could have taken a bucket of it home with me. The staff were very nice. Will definitely go to this restaurant again when I am in Scarborough.

Visiting Scarborough for a holiday, and after a few days wanted something other than fish and chips and pub food. The food at Thai Orchid is seriously delicious, and we all eat quite a lot of Asian food. This place is way up there with some of the nicest Thai food we’ve eaten. Chilled and relaxed atmosphere, family vibe, friendly staff, unpretentious, affordable. We would definitely go back!

What a surprise to find a lovely thai restaurant in scarborough. Had the £ 7.50 menu. Starter main and a side.Very good quality food. Staff friendly and efficient. Nice that is open for lunch friday saturday and sunday. Really enjoyed it.
