My wife and I stayed in the area over the bank holiday weekend. We took a punt and we booked for Thursday Dinner, Saturday breakfast and Sunday lunch. Never been before, absolutely knock out, top notch, we couldn’t fault it. The whole experience on all three occasions was outstanding. Not often, if ever have we made that statement. pricing not out of the way for restaurant food, excellent service and lovely decor. If you want cheap pub food, this place isn’t for you.

Set within the village of Cayton The Farrier restaurant provides a good choice of food with daily specials. The food is excellent quality, well presented and a credit to the Chef(s). Service is attentive but relaxed and every member of staff we spoke to were friendly and welcoming. It may not be cheap but it's definitely value for money. Go on treat yourself, I am confident you won't regret it.

We only had a meal, I say only, Wow, how good was that. Without a doubt, the best place to eat for miles around. Maybe, I shouldn't shout about it, or maybe there wont be any space next time we want to go. Superb.

I tried this restaurant for Sunday lunch and I'd heard really good things before going. Safe to say I wasn't let down. The roast lamb dinner was delicious and a really good portion. Honestly the size on them Yorkshires is ridiculous! I then had the white turtle cheesecake which was so beautifully presented and tasted just as delicious. The staff were also really friend and just the right amount of attentive.

We have just had an absolutely fantastic meal today. Service and food exceptional. First time we have been but it won’t be our last. Friendly staff, lovely restaurant with a nice relaxing feel. Cannot wait to revisit. Dog friendly too. Highly recommended.

Probably the best hotel and restaurant I have stayed at in 20 years of travelling around the U.K. on business. If I could award 6 stars if would. You simply must visit and stay and eat!! You will not be disappointed. Enough said probably.

My husband and I stayed at The Farrier for a Valentines day/night treat and WOW!! Our experience was amazing from start to finish. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our food was fantastic and the room "Dream Alliance" was so beautiful. We will definately be going back. Highly recommended!!

Fabulous place to stay and eat. Easy to find. Can easily walk from there to Cayton Bay. Also, there's a very nice stain glass centre with a lovely cafe at Killerby within easy walking distance, turning left out of the car park.

This is a top end, high quality venue. All staff wear black gloves and are very polite. There's a reception as you go in and the restaurant is on the ground floor and a bar upstairs. Fabulous decor and seating. Cocktails were very nice and we were soon guided to our dining area. The food was exceptional, scallops starter and pork belly main. Outstanding. I'm surprised it's not Michelin starred as it's that good. The toilets were spotless as was the entire place, beautifully decorated throughout. Really nice wine and beers available. Danny was lovely. One point I'd like to make, their home-made black pudding was the best I've ever had and I've had lots. We will return and highly recommend this place. I will also say it was good value for the quality and what we had.
