The Board Inn in Scarborough

I love this pub, the staff the atmosphere all fabulous, I missed the bus the other week home the last one and the staff in there helped to keep me and my pouch safe. The food is also fabulous. If you want a cosy meal with great staff then visit the board inn 😁😁😁

Stopped for an early pub tea and was pleasantly surprised at the food and friendly service.

Very good ales and gin selection. Had a good view across the harbour.

Popped in here for lunch in December 2021, enjoying a nice meal. The pub is pretty small and was absolutely packed, with it hard finding a seat. Staff were friendly, also advising our food would take a while, which was fine by us. Portions were huge and tasty. Fantastic location too, so well worth a visit.

The staff although young were very efficient. As soon as a table became free it was thoroughly cleaned. Atmosphere very friendly. Toilets immaculate. Didn't eat but the food looked very tempting. Well done.

Nice pub but the food is terrible. Gf had a microwaved pasta dish and i had the lasagne which was literally the size of a Greggs caramel slice. Left still hungry and wouldn't return. Nice view though.

Fantastic sea view, but unfortunately, that's the best I can say about it. A sign outside offered mulled wine and mince pies, so we were tempted inside on a cold day. However, the mulled wine was lukewarm and quickly turned cold, the mince pie came out of a Co-op box of six and, worst of all, the table was covered in spilt salt and was sticky and unpleasant.

Brilliant pub Brilliant home cooked food as well and great sized portion's And got to mention the bouncer. Top bloke who always asking how we were and entertaining the children.

I’m sat in the Board Inn having a meal with my family.4 adult mealy and 1 child meal and a round of drink £65.The misses has the seafood linguine and there is so much sea food on the plate.My fish is hanging off the plate it’s so big, and the gammon has half a pig in itAll the meals are great and the staff are awesome. If your in Whitby and your in need of food and drink this is a great choice you will not be disappointed.

Really pleased with our food. My wife and I both has pasta dishes and we're both very happy with the quality and quantity, staff were very helpful especially the doorman, chatting about the food and more than happy to help with any queries. Well done to all the staff, I would definitely go again.
