The Cask Inn in Scarborough

Excellent and proper pub grub. Very generous portions and very tasty.

The hospitality was delightful, lovely local business who gave us a private room. Super affordable drinks! Quick service too.

A proper, traditional pub. Several rooms of differing sizes, served from a large central bar. Busy without being crowded. And a decent pint, too. Choice of three cask beers on my visit. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

We visited The Cask Inn as we where staying round the corner and this was the closest pub. Enjoyed the burger and chips with a decent pint and for a reasonable price too. Only 4 stars as the pub could do with a refurb but as the industry is still recovering from all the lockdowns it's understandable they might not have the funds.

A pub for locals in the most part. But the food was excellent (don’t expect gastro pub quality) it’s just bog standard pub food. Very tasty and lots of it at a very reasonable price. Pub could do with a refurb but we went to eat more than for a night out.

Really friendly staff. Went for the Jazz club, which is in the downstairs function room. That showed signs of a nice refit, then a very hard life.

I Had lamb shank which was shank a small amount of potatoes peas n gravy what food was there was really well cooked but there was more gravy than solid food so it was more like a soup dish than main meal. The cask used to do Sunday lunch and it was great. I would not go again sorry

Quite a nice cosy pub, the drinks are nice and have a range of soft and alcoholic beverages. They even went out of there way to decorate for Halloween 🎃. Overall quite nice and relatively price firendly. Food is delicious.

Lovely food and great value. It was very fresh and tasty. Really friendly staff and great value drinks too. Will definitely return.
