Lovely reasonably priced English breakfast & pleasant staff

Lovely little place. About 6 tables indoors and a couple more outdoors. Opened already by 7am, it's great for people that have hiking trips planned and would like to start the day early. Really nice local vibe, tasty English breakfast for a reasonable price. Friendly staff that made our days start with a smile!

Went in for 2 Lattes, came out with 2 half sized cups of instant coffee... 2 thirds milk?

Stayed at the crown Spa and deliberately didn't book breakfast so we could come here every morning, the girls are great and knock up one of the tastiest breakfasts we have ever tried. Nothing is to much bother for these ladies and was sad I couldn't take the place back home with us. We will be back!!

Best breakfast I've had in a long time

A cosy little cafe with great food at reasonable prices and lovely friendly staff.

Utterly woeful. There is absolutely no redeeming feature about this place whatsoever. The venue, food and drinks are all repellant. Think motorway lay-by trailer.This begs the question; does the manager care any more?It irritates me that this place occupies commercial space. Time to vacate the premises and let someone take over who actually gives a damn about what they’re doing.

Fantastic breakfast ...giant full english and v big cheesey omelette with coleslaw and salad. Friendly owners/staff and sunny windows with chairs outside. A great alternative to paying for hotel breakfast ...expecially as much cheaper too! Thanks from Fred and Sue

Very basic, if you don't mind waiting for a table,There are only 4 inside, then waiting to be served because the waitress is doing something else (chatting, cleaning the loo or maybe dealing with other customers) then wait for the waitress again for your drinks, then your food will arrive. Food very basic, cheap food, what used to be a greasy spoon. Very small selection of cakes and biscuits. It's often cold inside as the heat is all lost every time the door opens.
