The Crescent Bar in Scarborough

Love this hotel, great location, friendly staff. Breakfast is very good and the bar downstairs serves great bar meals. Have rebooked for September.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfasts, very clean and good position being between the sea front and town. Nice to get anevening drink too.

Friendly helpful team. Good location to all area's of Scarborough. Good selection for breakfast. Room really comfortable. Just a little bit warm, but that could be me. May need a fan in summer, due to the sun being in the room most of the day. Would definitely visit again.

After a lengthy interval (covid etc), we recently popped in for drinks & were reminded what a great hotel / bar & restaurant The Crescent Hotel is. We came again for dinner & were blown away by the quality sirloin steak with all the trimmings. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely 2 nights at The Crescent Hotel lovely hotel the food was 1st class. The staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂 Will definitely be going back

The rooms are nice and spacious but the facilities in the room are below what i would expect for the price you pay, no bottled water, 1 little bar of soap no shampoo or conditioner, 1 sachet of hot chocolate when its a twin room.The breakfasts are beautiful and plentiful.The staff are polite and friendly.The location is about a 10 minute walk to the beach.

We had a Sunday lunch in the bar. It was the only meal offered that day. I'm a vegetarian so I had the meal without meat - incl. non meat gravy. (A nut roast would have been a good alternative to the meat.) Fresh properly cooked food - delicious. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait for long. We've been in the week on many occasions - where a full menu - incl. vegetarian options are available. I can't comment on the rooms as I've never stayed overnight.

Attended a family wedding afternoon tea reception. It was all lovely. The staff worked very hard and nothing was too much trouble.

Having stayed here a few weeks ago while I was relocating to Scarborough decided to stop by for a bar dinner. The meat and potato pie was amazing, washed down with a nice Guiness. Will be back

The welcome was spot on. The room was really nice, bed very comfortable. Ate in first night, intended to eat out the second. We ate in on both nights. Menu extremely good, loved the choice of ‘small bites’. Breakfast choice very good as well.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - we used to have a ‘go to hotel’ in Scarborough but it closed. We have tried a few different ones since - we now have a ‘new go to’ hotel-THIS IS IT -THANK YOU for a great stay.Pat and Keith Barnsley
