The Farrier in Scarborough

Wow this is a little gem such a beautiful restaurant with a lovely calm atmosphere felt really relaxed. The staff were lovely and knowledgeable about the food. Our food was well presented and beautifully cooked. Can't tell you what I had it was a chicken dish and full of flavours my husband had the belly pork and he said was the best he had had. The desserts were a masterpiece of artistry and taste. Would highly recommend you visit of in Cayton Scarborough.

Absolutely love this place! Managed to get in with the off chance they had a cancellation which was incredibly lucky! They’re always so full up! With being owners at the local caravan site we always try get in here when we come to stay but have never been able to get in, Thankfully the staff were able to squeeze us in and I’m so grateful as it was incredible! Will definitely be coming again but will make sure we book in this time.10/10

Absolutely beautiful food, good sized portions and good value too. The servers were all friendly and really added to our experience, especially a lady with a blonde Bob, sorry we didn't catch her name! We'd definitely recommend and hope to come back before we leave Cayton.

Beautifully done out restaurant. We had a lovely lunch here on Thursday. My husband had fish & chips he said the fish melted in his mouth. It was delicious. I had gammon which was also very nice. Eton mess was a bit of a let down for us. No cream and only a couple of slithers of meringue. It had pieces of marshmallow in it which was odd. Think you are over thinking this one guys.

Fine dining on another level. Tried the Farrier for the first time last Tuesday and I was blown away by the surroundings (I remember when it was the Blacksmiths Pub...) The change us remarkable, the whole place drips quality, the staff are fabulous and the food is simply superb, on another level to anything I've had before, absolutely top class. If you haven't been then go! (you may need to book though as word about this fantastic place has got around).

This was an absolute delight, the attention to detail and service was excellent, the food was beautiful. A wide range of drinks and wines, a cocktail bar upstairs too. Went for my birthday, wanted to go for a while, we will definitely be back here, very reasonable for the whole experience. Absolutely loved it! Thank you to all the staff!

Set within the village of Cayton The Farrier restaurant provides a good choice of food with daily specials. The food is excellent quality, well presented and a credit to the Chef(s). Service is attentive but relaxed and every member of staff we spoke to were friendly and welcoming. It may not be cheap but it's definitely value for money. Go on treat yourself, I am confident you won't regret it.

My wife and I stayed in the area over the bank holiday weekend. We took a punt and we booked for Thursday Dinner, Saturday breakfast and Sunday lunch. Never been before, absolutely knock out, top notch, we couldn’t fault it. The whole experience on all three occasions was outstanding. Not often, if ever have we made that statement. pricing not out of the way for restaurant food, excellent service and lovely decor. If you want cheap pub food, this place isn’t for you.

I tried this restaurant for Sunday lunch and I'd heard really good things before going. Safe to say I wasn't let down. The roast lamb dinner was delicious and a really good portion. Honestly the size on them Yorkshires is ridiculous! I then had the white turtle cheesecake which was so beautifully presented and tasted just as delicious. The staff were also really friend and just the right amount of attentive.

Probably one of the best meals I have ever had. This was my 1st visit and I only live around the corner. Can't wait to go back! Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you.Beautiful surroundings and a lovely little bar upstairs.If you haven't visited this place then I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed!
