Visited for lunch today with a friend and puppy 🐶 Chose to eat outside, staff couldn't of been more helpful and the food was delicious, broccoli and Stilton quiche was yummy 😋 Thoroughly enjoyed by all, especially the puppy who was spoilt with treats by the staff. Will definitely be back very soon 🙂

Always enjoyed going here but I think it may have just changed hands and they need time to "settle in". I don't like doing a bad review and will go back in the hope of being more positive soon. We ordered 3 burgers, chips were black and bacon was burnt, I had the ham & chutney sandwich which was very disappointing as they used cheap margarine and the taste lasted for hours in my mouth, they forgot to put the chutney on and the ham was awful, very cheap pack bought, where was the lovely homemade ham!? Yet it was the same price for cheap marg and nasty ham, not a great start. However, the young lady who served us was excellent and professional but, please, help make her job easier, she is after all the face of your business!!Go back to using good products and put love into your cooking please and I will definitely be back.

Often one of our favourite places to eat, and again it hasn’t disappointed. Welcoming and attentive staff. We visited for breakfast and the food was as always amazing, proper good local produce. Keep doing what you do.

Lovely food. I was a bit nervous after seeing the website that I wouldn't enjoy it but the actual menu was great. We all enjoyed our meals and the service was brilliant.

Went here on Valentines and it was lovely, so much so we booked to take our family members on Sat 19th Feb - such a disappointment.3 of the 4 main meals arrived without the veg, when questioned they went back to the kitchen and arrive with the broccoli just as we were all about to finish. Then the puddings came staggered, two of us had nearly finished when the other two arrived - unfortunately one of the puddings (sticky toffee pudding) came and it was burnt. The young lady did apologise for the puddings and didn’t charge us for them. It’s was a real disappointment as we’d hyped it up to our family. Will not be going again

Food extremely excellent ñot one thing to fault, service was excellent atmosphere wonderful, so helpful accommodated us taking 3 desserts home as we had to leave our friend at our holiday cottage looking after our dog as the sitter we booked did not turn up. Even gave us 3 after dinner mint chocolates so we could take one for her as well. Had we know they also have dog friendly rooms we have of used we would of definitely done so. What a great idea well done. Thank you fir making our anniversary special.

Lovely lunch location. Nice choice of dishes from sandwiches to gammon. Beautifully presented and delicious. The staff are very good, efficient and attentive. We have been there a few times and we will certainly go again. Afternoon tea is fabulous.

Good service. Pleasant staff. We just had coffee and scone but it was good coffee and a generous home made scone well presented on the plate with a strawberry and a couple of raspberries. Delicious. Not the cheapest but well worth the money. Looking forward to trying out the evening menu later in the year. 👍👍☕☕
