The Lighthouse Tea Room in Scarborough

A beautiful cafe immaculate, clean and tidy staff very proffessional and also friendly. The cook / chef was brilliant. We had scrambled egg on toast with bacon. No scrimping filled the plate. Visit the place you wont regret it!

Exceptionally good. Gluten free menu if needed. Fresh cakes and scones all home made daily. Lovely staff and the owners Emma and Simon are very friendly.

Busy, popular little café with outdoor seating on pavement at front. Very clean, and with a spotless carpet. Lots of lighthouses represented within in its decor, some 200 in fact. Every table had fresh flowers on, not plastic or silk, always impressed by that touch. Food was OK, but it took an interminable amount of time to arrive, over 30 minutes. The couple ahead of me waited a similar amount of time for a couple of toasties. I was going to try one of the cakes because they looked nice, but felt I'd been in there quite long enough so gave them a miss. Feel the speed of service could definitely be upped.

Very clean and very well implemented COVID regulations.The food - always good quality, well cooked and beautifully presented. What a lovely little place, we did wait some time for our food but we were not in any rush as were on holiday so we just drank coffee in the mean time. I have to say the breakfast was outstanding when it came so delicious totally worth the wait. 🍳🥓☕ The staff were so friendly as well and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. There is only 1 toilet which I always find frustrating probably because every single time i go someone tries to enter 😂 thanks guys for an awesome breakfast if we are ever back this way we'll pop in again for sure! 👌👍☺️
