The Mayfield in Scarborough

Really nice place to have a drink after a long day exploring the local area. Always have guest ales on. Really enjoyed the 4x4 pale ale. 👍🏻 Friendly staff and comfortable seating.

Visited and stayed over for a birthday party. Pub has a clean, warm and friendly atmosphere. Food was great quality, ordered via app and came quickly.Stayed in the suite, wow, lots of space and super comfy beds.

Amazing food, clean fun play area for the kiddos and friendly staff. Such a lovely spot I go all the time!:)

Great family pub with a dedicated family room if you have little ones, right next to the children's play area. Food is plentiful and tasty. Also good to have a carvery every night.

Went for tea off the cuff, ordered a steak and ale pie, tasted like a microwave thing, chips and peas weren't so bad, onion turned to jelly half way through the meal, won't be returning in a hurry. Bit of a shame as we're only round the corner.

My husband and I went into the Mayfield on Saturday afternoon.I ordered chicken tikka masala which was nice.My husband ordered scampi and chips, honestly there want enough on the plate to feed a child.We really should have complained.

Booked for 9 adults and 2 children food was pre ordered and served promptly after our arrival. All the meals were delicious well presented and hot. Children enjoyed the ice cream afterwards. Staff were very friendly with great hospitality skills would definitely take the family again

6 of us booked the Lady Ga Ga / Pink tribute with a Christmas dinner and it was brilliant! The service and staff were super efficient, the food was lovely and the act was amazing ! I would definitely go back 😁

We went as a very large family group, food arrived promptly and altogether. Excellent service and lovely helpful staff, especially Abbie. Will be going again.

We went twice at the weekend, one for the comedy and curry night and another for a Carvery.The Comedy and Curry night - the comedy was brill but the food was disappointing, much like a ready meal curry and wasn't much of it.The Carvery - this was beautiful! Good selection of meats and got loads, even on the medium plate. Plenty of veg choices. The Yorkshire puds are so nice! Would definitely recommend for Carvery. Oh and great price for Carvery too!!
